Diversity Statement

In principle and in practice, Saint John’s Health Center Foundation values and seeks diverse and inclusive participation in the membership of its Board of Trustees and other volunteers, staff, vendors, consultants and community. We believe that diversity encompasses many variables including without limitation race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, family status, personal values and beliefs, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, appearance, and professional level. We believe that diversity enriches our experience, promotes personal growth and a healthy society, strengthens communities and the workplace and enhances economic competitiveness. We believe that pursuit of our mission requires a commitment to the development of an organization that values differences, respects all of its members, and maintains a climate in which everyone is treated with dignity.
