Beware of this company

Beware of this company. I have just been informed by my ID Watchdog that my information is on the dark web because of this company. Good luck trying to cancel your membership with them as they don't respond to emails unless you are wanting to spend money. There is nowhere on there website that will allow you to delete your account. I never recieved any notification from them that my information was jeopardized. Beware.

WARNING TO ALL COLLECTORS

WARNING TO ALL COLLECTORS! 🚨
​Beckett Europe lost my high-value cards and is now refusing to take responsibility. I have an official Electronic Proof of Delivery (ePoD) legally signed by their employee 2 months ago. In light of commercial and transport law, they took full custody and liability for my property the moment they signed for it.
​Now, their support is trying to brush me off, claiming they "sign for bulk deliveries blindly without checking" and refuse to locate my package or update my system status. Legally, withholding my property is a crime.
​If you care about your cards, think twice before sending them to Beckett Europe
Total lack of professionalism! ❌

this company is full of thieves and…

this company is full of thieves and liars. I sent in two orders of 5 cards each for grading. The USPS confirms that the shipments were delivered. For over a month now Beckett will not respond to any of my inquires or submissions to find out what is going on. In addition, one card sent in was a Jordan card, mmmmmmmmmmm wonder why the order is missing.

Absolute worst..

Absolute worst... I've used Beckett quite often even tho ive had many issues. From Mislabeled cards, over charged shipping, much longer turn around than advertised, poor customer service.... I've lost money using beckett on more than 1 occasion. Never again. SGC it is

Here is my email to them… literally the worst company I have ever seen for customer service ..

Hello

I have been trying to contact someone from your company, anyone, to have a “dealer” account or some sort of bulk deal account since I send about 500 cards per month to CGC, and I would of liked to start sending them to you…

Why is it that this company is extremely unprofessional with no replies?

Why is it that we have to chase you to do some business and get a minimum of customer service?

When you guys decide to actually have some sort of minimum of a customer service, and decide to reply, then I will re open my account and start sending you tons of cards, until then I will keep sending to CGC, and will leave you guys in the same boat as PSA for my customers, which isn’t good. Are you guys missing employees? Or they simply dont care and are paying them for nothing?

What ever the reason is, I have never seen this in my life, and its pretty aggravating.

Terrible customer service

Messed up labels on my order. They told me to send them back and they'd fix them. After a few months with zero communication, I called. They had been sitting on the ladies desk i talked to for 2 months. Told them to send them back as is and refund me for those 2. Did send them back, but will not refund me. Will never use them again. Terrible customer service.

Stay away

I sent in my item to Beckett for authentication, but I mistakenly did not include the submission form paper you get after paying in the package. The package was delivered and signed for, and I have proof of delivery. I reached out to Beckett immediately to resolve the issue, even paid again and created a new submission form. For the past two months I have contacted them over and over (via email and the contact form, more than a dozen times), trying to find a solution myself. My item is with them, my payment has been made, yet I receive no response at all. I feel completely ignored as a customer.

This experience is extremely frustrating – I tried everything from my side, even double-paid, and still get no update. Customer service like this is unacceptable. At this point, I am close to involving a lawyer just to get my property back, and I will definitely seek damages after all this. My advice: go to the competition. Don’t waste your time or money here. This is scam for real

Disappointing service and lack of follow-through

I purchased an item of rare sports memorabilia with a Beckett Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). Shockingly, the CoA had the signer’s name spelled incorrectly.

I contacted Beckett on 3 March 2025, and they admitted it was their error. They assured me they would issue a corrected replacement CoA.

Despite several follow-ups, no corrected CoA has ever been provided and they became unresponsive. The repeated delays and lack of action have left me questioning Beckett’s reliability and professionalism. For a company whose very business is built on trust, accuracy, and timely service, this experience has been deeply disappointing.

Signature Review Failure

I used this company for the 1st time with an SGA signed jersey that I personally handed to SGA at Game 2 of the 2025 NBA Finals. Two months later & now out $82, I got a letter stating that the autograph is not authentic. Extremely disappointed in their services as this is one of my most treasured possessions and was hoping the authentication would add to the display I have for it. I do NOT recommend using Beckett-Authentication for any review.

This company lacks credibility and engages in financial misconduct

This company refuses to authenticate autographed items unless they have been previously authenticated by another source. They appear to lack the necessary expertise on staff to credibly authenticate such items. This is problematic; for example, if I submit an autographed sports trading card from a company that Beckett does not recognize as legitimate, such as ONIT, they will not authenticate the signature. However, if the card was produced by Topps, they would. In essence, Beckett will not authenticate any item that has not been previously authenticated. Consequently, I believe this company is not credible.

I dont trust BAS expertise in…

I dont trust BAS expertise in authentication. Dealing with BAS has become a nightmare and customer service dont reply. They lost my valuble signed card more than 5 months ago. No compensation is given yet….. I truly regret sending Beckett my card.

Appalling level of customer service

While I cannot doubt BAS expertise in authentication, I hold Steve Grad in the highest regard, dealing with BAS has become a nightmare and the customer service they offer is nothing but excuses. They charge top-dollar for their service and I submitted autographs in February with a 30-day turnaround quoted. It's now 7th May and the authentication has still not been done. One excuse after another. Just dreadful!! I am left with no other option other than the lawyers.
