I was assigned a dedicated team who walked with me from start to finish. And if there was ever a problem encountered along the way we were able to call upon the production unit's manager for her insights and assistance as well. Overall, this was my first book publishing experience and it definitely went better than I had expected going in. Was it a lot of work absolutely. But the work product Atticus and my team ultimately put out was first rate. That was my ultimate goal and it was achieved; making all the work and long hours worthwhile.

As someone who is new to the publishing game, Mary & Rae saw me through the entire process from start to finish. They answered every question and handled every concern I had without fail. I put out more financially than expected, but I don't regret it. I had the final say for every step of the process - from editing, to to book size, to agreeing to a interview - I received more than I bargained for and it was worth it to see a dream finalized.

The Atticus publishing team and I went through a little bumpy road with Amazon getting my book up and running, but the team at Atticus publishing fought through the little mountain climb and successfully got everything back on track. I really appreciate the team at Atticus publishing and look forward to continually working with them to bring the message in my book to the world. The Atticus team thus far has proven to me that they care about my work as an author, and I will continue to be loyal to them.

As a new author, I found they knew what I did not about taking raw text and turning it into a book. We did four rounds of editing, and I am publishing across all the media including Audible. Trust me, you need someone holding your hand. It is much more complex than you think. I also encourage you to find a mentor from this list or in your network. Sometimes figuring out your DNS, audio recording, or linking social media requires support from another author. I plan to use Atticus again for book 2 in my series.

My experience with rebranding my book with Attitcus was flawless. Emily was a true gem to work with and made the process easy for me. I’m working on the sequel and hope to continue publishing with Attitcus for years to come!

The process is seamless. I was doing well, but a month before my book launch, I lost my father and had to travel to him to plan, prepare and bury him. Which set me back financially about a month. Atticus Publishing (Sam Robinson) seemed understanding during the loss and expressed sympathy-the month following, when I got back to work- not so much now. Now it’s all about the money. Almost demanding payment. And expecting the full balance paid then and there as if I didn’t just lose my father, and my income for a month while in the throes of planning and burying him. I work a regular job-and money doesn’t grow on trees. But their care about this is lackluster and lacks basic understanding that we aren’t all made of money. Just because we can write, and want to punish, doesn’t mean we have money just laying around. IF I use this company for my second book, let’s hope that their care for my book comes before their care for my money. I was promised an about the author page, didn’t get it. I talked about the fact I do have a disability which sometimes makes things harder for me and I either overthink them or don’t notice things I should. Again-very understanding-at first. Once they have you locked in and make money off you-the level of care drops. Then (Daisy Brown) requested a review from me- I gave her 4 stars-because again, book isn’t published until the 13th so it could have changed in time-instead called and tried to convince me to give her 5 stars. I don’t just give 5 stars without reason. The company is currently leaving a really bad taste in my mouth.

I am impressed by the overall professionalism of this company. They have performed in an exemplary fashion since the very beginning. If you're a new author looking for professional guidance, Atticus is the place to be. I am using them once again for the publication of my second book. I would go nowhere else. A special call out to Emily, Dylan and Michelle.
