Review Title:Scammed by hidden terms. Charged £78 for a 1-minute error!Do not trust Opodo. They use deceptive checkout practices to trap your money.I booked a car rental through them at 22:53. At no point during the checkout process did they display the strict payment terms. Exactly ONE MINUTE LATER, at 22:54, I received the confirmation email stating that a credit card was mandatory at the desk.Because I do not have a credit card, I had to cancel the booking immediately. Despite cancelling within minutes of making the booking due to their own failure to show these terms beforehand, Opodo hit me with a massive £78 penalty fee.I managed to claw back £53, but they are holding the remaining £78 hostage for a service I never used and cancelled instantly. This is a complete failure of transparency and predatory consumer practice will be pursuing a bank chargeback for unfair fees and will not stop contacting customer service until my remaining £78 is fully refunded. Avoid this platform at all costs.

Was on hold for 2 hours, cut off by 5 different agents. App and website show “Price Freeze for €0” option available for a flight from Phoenix to Lisbon yet no option is available when I try. One agent said because it’s summer and prices “vary” from one day to the next the option might not be available from certain airlines yet 5 different airlines service that route, all show price freeze option available to Prime Plus members like me yet when I try and use the option it’s not available. Every agent said they would help me and escalate then they put me “on hold” and I immediately go into the customer service rating system then they say goodbye and I’m disconnected. I’m on hold currently for the 5th time today, 28 minutes so far and no one is answering. This is on their “VIP Customer Service” line. Total time invested is almost 3 hours now. Now I’m angry and won’t quit until I get some type of resolution. I asked them if they see the option on their end why won’t they just book the flight and freeze the price

DO NOT BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE. Worst flight agency. Worst of worst.i paid for my ticket but never got confirmation. I got an booking id but my booking was never confrimed. I called the feom 12 to 16 oclock every 30 minutes for the confrimation. The supervisor is not serious. They told me to call the airline. I called the airline but they couldnt help me because the order never went out from opodo. VERY BAD. They tell me to call every 30 minutes. Very bad situation.

Never again. We book a hotel when we arrive they didn’t have the booking . After 1 month still waiting for the refund .

Very nice gentleman was very helpful when I wanted to cancel subscription. Offered me £45 off future flight booking but I declined as forgot to cancel subscription last year & do not want to do this again

We were attended to by a gentleman, Doymbouya, His patience, care and kindness was beyond belief. we are elderly, not IT wise and he spent a lot of time walking us through our problems. Not even once did he get irate with us. Thank you Doymbouya
