Delayed coach, no alternative no refund

I purchased my coach ticket online and, when I arrived at the coach station on my way to the airport, I was informed that the bus was delayed by 40 minutes. As I needed to arrive at the airport at least two hours before my flight, I asked the staff whether they could arrange another option like taxi, or provide a refund. I was told that neither was possible.

As a result, I had no choice but to book an Uber at my own expense while also losing the cost of my coach ticket.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. I will not be using your company again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else.
