Die Carglass GmbH hat mit 330 Service Centern und mehr als 380 mobilen Einheiten ein einzigartiges Netzwerk an Stationen für die Reparatur und den Neueinbau von Fahrzeugglas in Deutschland. Das Unternehmen hilft Autofahrern im ganzen Bundesgebiet und bearbeitet jährlich rund 1,2 Millionen Kundenanfragen. Für die Reparatur setzen die geschulten Carglass-Monteure das eigens vom Unternehmen entwickelte und patentierte Verfahren „Glass Medic“ ein. Das Auto ist innerhalb von circa 30 Minuten wieder fahrbereit. Beim Neueinbau von Windschutz-, Seiten- oder Heckscheiben greift der Fahrzeugglasspezialist auf eine Bandbreite von insgesamt rund 50.000 verschiedenen Scheiben, die es derzeit auf dem Markt gibt, zurück. Dabei entsprechen alle Produkte den gleichen Qualitätsanforderungen wie die Originalscheiben der Fahrzeughersteller. Carglass kann unabhängig von Hersteller, Typ oder Baujahr alle Fahrzeugscheiben reparieren oder neu einbauen – in den meisten Fällen selbst bei ausgelaufenen Modellen, Young- oder Oldtimern sowie Spezialfahrzeugen. Carglass führt außerdem flächendeckend in ganz Deutschland die fachmännische Kalibrierung der Kameras und Sensoren von Fahrzeugen mit Fahrerassistenzsystemen (FAS) durch, wenn der Hersteller dies nach dem Neueinbau einer Windschutzscheibe vorsieht.

I had originally a time to get the windshield changed on my Tesla Model X on 16/3.
I was in Spain and could not get a friend to drive the car to Carglass.
I moved the appointment to 31/3 and bought a ticket from Spain.
When in the plane back from Spain, a message came from Carglass, they didn’t have the glass for tomorrow’s appointment.
So a trip back and forth from Spain was wasted…
New appointment was set at 20/4 and back from Spain again.
Window mounted, (no free new wipers e.g. as a small compensation for the travel expenses for the cancelled appointment).
No parking disc in the windshield after the exchange…
No parking disc on stock…
People were friendly, but the system could be improved for sure.
