I'd rather stick with Linktree. After I canceled my subscription, they refused to release my artist website address. That feels more like a scam than a service that's actually worth using. Stay away!

Easy to use, build, create and navigate. Pricing model is great. A lot of value for price. I find it easier and less complicated than most of the other marketing and digital creator platforms.

Beacons ai is a freaking joke

Beacons ai is a freaking joke, I was never informed that it will take half of what you make and to add insult to injury the transaction processor stripe has to take another chunk out of your earnings. This is very disappointing to know you really will never get your full amount earnings from your products that you created again because not only will Beacon take half, stripe will definitely take a portion as well. Moreover, you will be sure to wait several days before you even get to touch, see, or spend your money in your account but remember they got theirs with no issues. Beacon do better by your customers or you won't have any due to how you are.

IF NO STARS WERE AN OPTIONS... THE SKY IS FALLING!

Let’s talk about Beacons.ai… because what exactly are we doing here?

You market yourselves as a platform for creators to make money—so naturally, the bare minimum expectation is… creators get paid. Not eventually. Not mysteriously. Not after checking the dashboard like it’s a horoscope. On time.
But instead, it’s giving:
“Where is my money?”
“Why is nobody answering?”
“Why does this feel like a situationship instead of a business platform?”

Because at this point, logging in doesn’t feel empowering—it feels like checking on a text that’s been left on read.

And the wild part? It’s not just one person saying this. When multiple creators are raising the same concerns, that’s not “a glitch.” That’s a pattern with a PR team.

“We’re working on it” has officially expired. Retired. Laid to rest. Because how long is “working on it” supposed to take before it becomes “we dropped the ball”?

Creators are not interns. We’re not volunteers. And we’re definitely not here to donate our time and talent while waiting for basic functionality to catch up.

So respectfully—no confusion, no chaos, no chasing—just clarity:
If a platform can’t handle payouts with consistency and transparency, it’s not a business tool. It’s a liability with branding.

And at this point?

Yeah… it’s giving delete!
Run Me My Coins NOW Felecia!!

This site is trash

This site is trash. There is absolutely no way to speak with a real person when you have an issue. All they do is send you back a general, auto-populated email. You should use a professional system that does not hide behind AI.

AI is fine until you need real help or actual support. Then all they do is regurgitate information from their website back to you. There is no real way to speak to someone who can actually resolve the issue. They act like every problem can be fixed by pushing you back to their site.

If you are a creator, especially if you are starting out, do not use them. Yes, they will tell you it is easy. Yes, they will tell you it is only $20 a month. But once you are embedded with them and need help, you will not be able to get the support you need.

Good thing for me, I am very tech savvy. I am getting off their site and moving to an actual business that helps and cares about its customers.

Garbage. Trash. I would not recommend them. I have several creator sites, and this experience has been absolutely horrible. They do not care. I have sent them email after email, and they do not respond with anything useful — only general, generic replies.

Do not do business with them. Period.

These guys suck BIG time, their subscription cancelation process is also long - you need to complete several surveys to cancel your subscription.

Not to mention BILLING 30$ per month just to not have their branding on my links...

Easy setup, but misleading language and moving goalposts broke my trust

Easy setup, but misleading language and moving goalposts broke my trust

What went right:
Beacons is genuinely easy to set up. You can get a bio page live quickly, and the all-in-one concept (links, products, email capture, media kit) is appealing, especially for non-technical users.

What went wrong:
The issues are around transparency and trust.

Domain ownership is misleading. Domains purchased through Beacons are not actually owned by the user. You are not the registrant and have no access to DNS, transfer locks, or the registrar. To take your domain with you, there is a $70 domain processing/transfer fee, plus a high annual renewal cost. This was not clearly disclosed at purchase and is buried in the Terms of Service.

This became a real blocker when I needed to configure DNS for third-party tools (e.g., Stripe and email verification) and when planning for long-term portability.

Paid features changed without notice. I upgraded specifically to remove the Beacons logo. After upgrading, the Beacons icon later reappeared without prior notice, and the option to remove it was no longer available. Changes like this make it hard to trust what a paid plan actually guarantees.

Overall, the language around ownership and features feels hidden and misleading, rather than clearly explained up front.

Conclusion:
Beacons is easy to use, but the lack of transparency around domain ownership and the way paid features can change without notice caused me to lose trust in the platform.

If you care about owning your domain, controlling DNS, and avoiding platform lock-in, I strongly recommend purchasing your domain directly from a registrar you control and connecting it manually.

Biggest shitty site ever

Biggest shitty site ever. You can´t configurate properly, it's full of buggs with absurd error messages like "The page for editor has been set to private until the email address of the owner is verified" when you go to "beacons . ai / editor" even when email address was OBVIOUSLY verified. Support doesn´t respond and functionnalities don't work. Run far away from this wasting time App.

2 stars for the features you get at the…

2 stars for the features you get at the price point, however it’s incredibly frustrating when you pay for unlimited emails but the platform will randomly block you from sending emails for 48 hours because you send 2 in one day. 2 EMAILS and they say that they must “protect my reputation” because 2 emails in one day is sooo scandalous. Totally goes against what I pay for (unlimited emails).

The features are also limited. You can’t do order bumps on certain services which is SO FRUSTRATING, like why does it matter? They also have taken our ability to customize purchase emails sent to clients away. When you’re writing emails or descriptions etc, you have to constantly refresh the page because it will freeze up and nothing works. You also can’t add videos in the email feature unless it’s a video link.

I also hate that when a customer purchases something, you can’t see the purchase description at all, which is pretty unfair for the customer and also me. I change my descriptions up as life goes on, but the receipt nor the order confirmation has the original description for the client which means if they ordered something months ago and have a question about it, and I’ve had to update due to adding or changing something in the service, I literally have no way of knowing what they originally got.

It’s also infuriating that you cannot email your audience based on filtering what they paid for, so if you have a certain course or mastermind that has email deliverables daily or something, you have to literally create by hand a new audience. And no, there is no way to automate that. So if you have 1,000 people in a mastermind or something, to ensure that ONLY the people who purchased that product get updates etc you literally have to create an audience by typing in 1,000 email addresses by hand. And no, you can’t just create an email automation because it won’t be delivered to ALL who purchased, it will only be delivered to NEW purchases going forward.

While $30 price point is decent, I expected WAY MORE than what I am getting. Even if I upped that to the highest tier, I still wouldn’t get what I pay for because the features are limited and the platform blocks you for really dumb reasons.

Go to JOINKLIQ, linktr.ee or Stan, both are cheaper with much better features. Period.

I’m shocked to see these reviews

I’m shocked to see these reviews, WTF? I’ve been using Beacons for about a year now and I’ve not had any issues whatsoever. Any time a customer places an order, I get paid via PayPal instantly and it seems they’ve thought of almost everything when it comes to selling digital products on the platform.

I can’t help but think all these reviews are from people who don’t understand how to work the site and change their settings as all the reviews seem to be billing/customer service problems.

Their customer service is a bot (which I usually hate) but it’s like a ChatGPT bot who understands what you’re saying so any questions I’ve had have been answered to my satisfaction.

I really hope they take the negative reviews seriously and up their game as I’d hate to see the platform fail over something that can be so easily resolved.

Took my money but said the payment “Declined” the first time, ithen reached out hoping to get assistence but I didn't get any. Then later on they sent another email saying my money has been refunded but I never received any money and again I decided to re-upgrade to the $10 paid plan Yesterday and I was able to send 1 email and today I'm trying to send an email,it says I must upgrade to send unlimited emails. I only sent 1 email out of 500 but it's saying 126 remaining for this month. I AM NOT HAPPY!!

Customer service does not exist

Customer service does not exist, there is a FAQ section, a chatbot and a number where you can leave a message that no one will return. They do not have much competition so apparently the need for satisfied customers isn't a priority.
