Ordering was easy and price competitive. Website said next day delivery if you order before xx time, but then when you get to paying you find you have to pay extra for next day delivery.

I paid for next day delivery around 11am, got emails saying it was it was "on its way" by 11.10 Order dispatched it said! same time I had an email from DPD saying they were expecting my parcel.

However no further updates! The next morning when Id received no further update of delivery time and the DPD tracking site said they were still "waiting for delivery" . So I phoned laptops direct. Spoke to a helpful girl who investigated and said it was still in their warehouse and DPD were supposed to collect it but hadnt. I suggested that Laptops direct should instead send it by courier or taxi direct to me to meet their contractual agreement to deliver it that day. This wasnt accepted but she said she will follow up some more and get back to me by 1300. She did phone me at 1300, but DPD still hadnt picked it up. Unfortunately no more help except hoefully they will pick it up that day. She refunded me the £9.99 for next day delivery. But I suggested this wasnt really enough given my wasted time.

No more updates that day, but the next morning laptops direct emailed me to say it was being delivered that morning, luckily only just after I was going out for the day, so I waited for it.

THe laptop was fine, except when setting it up for my 86 year old Aunt who Id bought it for and was going to take it to, I found I had to have a microsoft account and there was no option to complete the setup without the account. As I didnt have her email address, I used my own email address for the account, but now find the laptop is registered to me and trying to synchronise with my own laptop which is really annoying. This is totally unnecessary

Brilliant customer service. Received a phone call, a couple of hours after I'd placed my order for a Samsung galaxy s24, from a lovely customer service guy, (unfortunately I didn't get his name).....who talked me through the delivery process and made me feel so at ease as I had previously been scammed by amazon!!!
Anyway, I absolutely love the phone, is exactly as described. I can 100% say I recommend Laptop direct and will be ordering from them again with confidence, thank you Laptops direct .

I placed 2 orders and both times have been just as described and arrived on time and in great condition. I will choose laptops direct before I shop anywhere else for tech.

Very poor customer service and don’t deliver when they promise. Customer service don’t seem to see any issue with not delivering on a Saturday after paying extra for Saturday delivery and just assume a weekday delivery is fine. Had to wait on the phone 30 mins to get order refunded and still waiting now for the refund and cancellation to be approved

The price was very competitive and the order process very simple, I was also able to get the necessary accessories at the same time. I paid for next day delivery and the item arrived at the notified time, with good security processes in place. Also had a follow-up phone call to check everything was okay, also to offer insurance (I declined and was relieved that it was not a hard sell). My new phone is working smoothly so I can't comment on how it goes if it didn't, but so far so good, a very pleasant shopping experience.
