After booking and paying for the flights and accommodation, i was notified by email the price had gone up another $400- for what was already paid for and confirmed..
Never again Scamjet !!!
Mess Up by Webjet
Mess Up by Webjet.
I escalated to Layton Shannos, Michael Zhang, Carissa Rangoni.
Doesn't seem to get response.
I booked ticket with webjet for me, my wife and 6months old son March for our trip to LA on 28th June.
Initially it was booked as infant without seat and then when we contacted webjet in March. Contact centre team person booked a seat for our son with a different booking number.
Yesterday when we were checking in at Melbourne airport Fiji Airways did not allow us to keep that booking and they created a new ticket for my son as Infant in lap. We had to pay extra for that and our original booking was cancelled because infant was booked as adult.
I raised this with customer support but not getting proper response. We are now travelling with baby in lap instead of a separate seat.
We haven't slept in 24hours and now next 14 hours ahead are not going well as I cannot book additional seat with Fiji Airways now.
I also have return flight but this is going to be same issue. Now start of our journey this has given our whole family a lot of mental distress.
Need some urgent review from your end. I tried getting managers escalation process hold but there is nothing as per customer support.
shocking customer service
booked a package, got refunded for hotel only because it wasn't avalible and no other options, called hotel and it is avalible, contacted customer service and the customer service lady Mehak was very rude and basically said nothing she can do. very disappointed
ended up calling again and apparently now the hotel is avalible but ive already been refunded
Not seated together
Not seated together!
We booked as a family of five: 2 adults and 3 kids.
When we received our flight check in, we were spread out all over the plane... even our children.
Webjet said there was nothing they could do. So, we had to fork our hundreds of extra dollars to pay for seat upgrades to sit together.
DO NOT USE THIS MOB. USELESS!
If I could give a zero rating I would
If I could give a zero rating I would. What a joke this company is… tried to change my flight, the lady (Shakira) gave me initially flight options. Then said the fare was booked and then told me it was available and then booked again. I looked at their website and they had 9 options to get me home tomorrow, apparently none of them she could book.
The only flight option she was able to get me on was a business fare conveniently close to $1000 in fare difference?
What a joke and a rip off.
Don’t give these pricks any money and book direct with the airline. The only reason I was booked through Webjet was through work we have since changed our travel policy.
Shakira was rude, refused to help or transfer me and was almost laughing. I was polite the whole way through out 32 minute interaction.
My flights were changed from a direct…
My flights were changed from a direct flight to a change over. Got an email at work saying they had changed and had not had time to look at it before receiving a phone call from Webjet. No chance to look at it and they confirmed it and upon looking at it later I get home at 1am in the morning with kids.
Rang back to change it to a more practical time and was told no. It will cost me $1000 or thereabouts to change it and is non refundable. Use webjet for all work and leasure flights (regularly) but will never use again
Accomodation issues
Booked accommodation and when we arrived, it was undergoing front foyer renovations. There was signage directing to a side entrance, which we went to to find out the doors were looked 3 minutes before our arrival. We attempted to call the number listed however call failed four times. When contacting webjet, we were given tokenistic responses. Not happy with responses. They are definitely happy to take your money.
Business Class flight cancellations.
Booked a business class flight trip to London. Webjet happily accepted around 12k. I recieved what I thought was a confirmation but instead it was a change of itinerary recommendation. I later thought this to be fishy. I booked other flights subsequently with Webjet. As I started to go through the correspondence a few days later I realised they had cancelled my flight.
Prices have since gone up 2-3k and they wanted me to wear most of the increase.
I am a customer of 17 years and will not use them again. Will book direct with airlines from now on.

Had to cancel flights due to a serious illness. The flights we booked direct with an airline refunded at short notice outside terms. The much later flights with Webjet nothing. You just know they will resell our cancelation. We have learned our lesson and would never dream of using them again. There is truely no benefit.
I tried to change flights
I tried to change flights. No help from Webjet, they put the problem onto the carrier, who put it back to Webjet, who then went dark, no communication for a week, still not resolved. Avoid at all costs.
Beware of booking flights via Webjet ever
I had to bring a flight forward and I had booked flexible fares via Webjet for my family of 5 people. I called Webjet to make the change to the flights. I was told that irrespective that I had selected flexible fares that allowed me to make multiple date and time changes, they couldn’t make the changes I needed as the airline had no allocation for them to make the changes. I had to book new flights. The airline had seats available on the day that I needed but according to Webjet they didn’t have any allocation. So much money wasted, no refund, no credit, no sympathy and no care. I had to spend double the amount to book new flights and I did this directly with the airlines. Do not use Webjet ever. Even if you booked flexible fares, you cannot make the changes you need via Webjet ( which is the reason I usually book flexible fares in case something doesn’t go according to plan) . Never, ever again. Such a terrible experience.
webjet do not act in your interest
I assert webjet do not act as the experts they claim to be. When an issues arises they put it back on the customer and hide behind corporate behaviour. I WILL NEVER TRUST THEM AS A BUSINESS. I have spent weeks trying to resolve what I believe to be misrepresentation of their expertise and how they take your money before thecticketing, which can be full of errors and foreseeable costly problems, and they put it back on the customer who could not reasonably be expected to understand how they operate. BOOK DIRECT or pay for the consequences. No trust in this company. They provide a platform, don't provide transparent advice and then take your money.

Fast response when deal with them on phone, they polite and very excellent customer service, I got a problem with booking my hotel and I give them a call they just help me and everything going well after I also book my flight with them and it's very perfect and cheap and there's no hiding fee I like webjet
The worst experience ever with Webjet.
The worst experience ever with Webjet.
Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Because of their mistake, I missed my flight and ended up paying hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket. What’s even worse is that they advertise 24/7 support, but when I called on a Sunday, I was told they don’t actually operate then—and that their “emergency” line is only for medical situations. That is completely misleading.
No accountability, no proper assistance, and no solution offered despite the inconvenience and financial loss they caused.
NEVER AGAIN with this company!!
DODGY
DODGY. Had cancellation credit for a November flight
THEIR CREDIT MUST BE USED BY THE ORIGINAL BOOKING DATE
DO NOT USE WEBJET THEY ARE THEIVES AND SCAMMERS
Never book tickets on this website
Never book tickets on this website. Initially, they offer tickets at a certain price, but after you pay, they call you 15 minutes later to say the tickets are sold out and you need to book another ticket at double the original price.
The real trouble begins when something…
The real trouble begins when something goes wrong, as it inevitably does with travel. Customer support is painfully slow, difficult to access, and often unhelpful when you finally get through. Trying to resolve booking changes or cancellations feels like shouting into the void, with generic responses and little accountability. For a company operating in an industry where flexibility and trust are crucial, the lack of reliable support is inexcusable. Instead of simplifying travel, Webjet turns it into a stressful, time consuming ordeal that leaves you questioning why you didn’t just book directly with the airline and hire car companies in the first place.
Caught lying on prices!
Unreliable customer service.
Caught lying on prices - all on transcript by the way to discourage changes. Not cancelling but changing and POS didn’t want to do any work on changing.
Would not recommend. Do not trust and save yourself the hassle of talking to the most untrustworthy company - and eventually losing your money.
Cancellation fee outrageous!
Webjet is trying to charge me 30% of an already expensive ticket to cancel my Qantas flights through Dubai because of the war situation. Qantas are offering fee free changes and cancellation so I cant see a justification for a $522 cancellation cost. Never again will I use Webjet.
Webjet takes the money and does not deliver
I paid 200.00 extra to be able to get the extra leg room by the exit with Vietnam Air. When I went to book in to get on the flight Vietnam Air said there was an age limit for those seats ( 60 YO) Webjet did not ell me when I paid the extra money for my choice of seat. I was 71 at the time and was not told of the age limit
