5 A wonderful experience at Poggio Amorelli! (Sasa)The winery is set in a beautiful Tuscan landscape, surrounded by vineyards and the rolling hills of Chianti. The scenery and atmosphere alone make the visit worthwhile. The tasting was very well organized, relaxed and enjoyable, with no sense of being rushed or overly formal. The wines were very good, and we especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local grape varieties, the winemaking process, and the character of the wines from this region. The staff were friendly, professional, and very welcoming. It is a perfect place for a break between Siena and San Gimignano, and a genuine little piece of Tuscany, exactly as you imagine it before coming here. We would gladly visit again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5 Very nice and cozy experience (Ana Elena)We had a great experience at Podere Marcampo. The tour itself was quite short, but the wine tasting lasted much longer than we expected, and we got to try more wines than originally announced. The family was incredibly attentive and shared lots of interesting insights about the wines and the winemaking process. They also served delicious snacks and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the vineyard at our own pace. Highly recommended!

5 Outstanding (Edgar)The winery is located in a beautiful area and hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. Our tour guide, “Bene” (Benedetta) was excellent, answering questions and providing information about the history and traditions of the winery. She took us on a short walk to the family chapel where she gave us even more details about the founder’s history and about the different types of grapes grown in the area and the wines produced in San Giorgio a Lapi. The setting for the wine tasting and lunch is beautiful, under this giant mulberry tree that provides ample shade and lets the Tuscan breeze cool the whole place. Lunch was fabulous with strawberry gazpacho, pasta with cherry tomatoes (mind you, I’m not a pasta person) and pork so tender that you could almost cut it with a fork; this we enjoyed along with the wines produced at the winery, which were very very tasty. The whole experience was one the best ones we’ve had in this trip. Thanks to all the kitchen staff and in particular to Bene, our wonderful tour guide. Grazie e arrivederci !!!

The wine tasting was excellent - Felsina make beautiful wines-and having an olive oil tasting for one of our group (who dies not drink) just added to the experience. 5 A Beautiful and Memorable Wine Tasting Experience (Murat)We recently enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting experience paired with delicious food, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The setting was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the wines. The staff were all polite, knowledgeable, and very informative throughout the tasting. Every wine was impressive, and we especially loved the Furbaco — so fresh, light, and easy to drink that it felt almost dangerous! The Gran Reserve had a more complex character as recommended, especially suited for pairing with cheese, but it was still incredibly smooth and enjoyable even on its own. We enjoyed the experience so much that we ended up buying several wines and other products to take home.

The experience was very personal, as the group for the visit consisted only of my boyfriend and I. This is also a small winery (15000 bottles a year) which makes the experience feel even more unique.

The picnic itself was incredible—set in a peaceful, quiet spot in the middle of the hills. 5 An authentic indulgence in Tuscany (Elena)We visited Savignola Paolina during spring. The place has a breathtaking view. We were hosted by the wine maker who took the time to tell us about the history of the place and how the tradition of wine making developed in the region and specifically the wine production of the estate. The wine tasting was well-combined with the typical local foos which was of enough quantity to enjoy both the food and the wine. The risotto and the dessert were phenomenal. It was a trully indulging experience of Tuscany with all the senses.

Second, the people, place, and wine are so unbelievably underrated. It's f****** stupid how good the wine is :-) The view is unreal, and if you're into wine dogs, Bacchus rules! The people are simply lovely. Request food, olive oil, water and just relax, settle in and take a breath. Ora, 360, Paolina, Mio, Granaio... They're all fantastic. The place is absolutely amazing, and the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and hospitable from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a tasting of five different wines, each paired with delicious food — they were very generous with both the wine and the accompaniments. Our host explained each wine in detail, including its origin and the perfect food pairing, which made the experience even more engaging. 4 Wine tasting at Felsina winery (Mark)The winery and property are gorgeous. There is a small family chapel from the 1500s on property that we saw. They have an amazing operation and we’re very accommodating and open about how their wines were processed.. The wine tasting itself was very good. We did expect a few more food items at the end but overall we were very pleased.
