5 A Must-Do Experience in Sicily (Sebastian)This was a brilliant experience, doing the wine and olive oil tasting with a tour of the vineyard and olive oil factory. The tasting experience was of fantastic quality, with great facts from the hosts. The food that accompanied it was of great quality. We loved getting a tour of the factory, learning about the process and the history of Etna providing the nutrient rich soil for vineyards. The host was fantastic - she even offered us a drive home so we didn’t have to walk in the heat (we kindly declined but appreciated the offer). It’s good value for money and they have a lovely shop to buy wines and olive oils made at the vineyard

I visited with my colleagues and we were immediately impressed by the elegant setting, which perfectly combines Sicilian charm with a modern and refined atmosphere. The wines were excellent, and the tasting was enhanced by delicious local food pairings. The host was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing interesting insights about Etna wines and the unique volcanic terroir. 5 Fine wines in a dreamy landscape (Carlos)I read some reviews about this winery over the years, so as soon as I found myself there, being in Catania for the first time I didn't want to miss the chance. I tasted very good white and rosé Etnas (2023 and 2024 respectively), then I tried a 2021 "Feudo di Mezzo Red" and that definitely made the trick for me, I'll be back for certain in the beautiful winery in the center of the city when I'm back in Catania (which, by the way, is stunning) Hope I can vist the vineyards over the mountain too when I get the chance. Overall certainly recommended

5 Excellent Wine Tasting Experience (July)Wonderful wine tasting experience in an elegant and welcoming tasting room, with a friendly and professional staff. We sampled four wines, all of which were excellent and thoughtfully presented. I highly recommend this experience to anyone spending a day in Catania and looking to discover local wines and flavors. The location is also perfect, just a short walk from the Catania Cathedral, making it a convenient stop while exploring the city. Definitely worth a visit!

5 What a wonderful visit (Don’t have lunch beforehand!) (Paul)What a great afternoon! We were looked after very well by Eugene with a clear/knowledgeable tour and then an excellent tasting. This included four wines and one grappa, with each served with appropriate food to bring out their character, and in a relaxed and unrushed style. Afterwards we also were directed to the shop to taste their olive oils and their extensive range of honey — also very good. Everyone seemed very enthusiastic and knowledgable and there was no pressure to purchase.

The server provided a lot of interesting information regarding everything around the growing of the grapes, the wine making process and taste. The food was also great and went extremely well with the wines. The Favazza winery has very modern tastefully picked interiors while being surrounded by ancient landscapes full of history. 3 Just okay (Liette)Our guide was friendly enough, but her enthusiasm was not really there. When we met at the beginning she said the temperature was too chilly so we’d skip the outdoor vineyard tour for the time being and do the inside tour first. She didn’t ever take us outside for the vineyard tour! Also, we were supposed to see the honey bees/hives and she didn’t do that either even though we told her we are beekeepers and expressed an interest. The food was good and her knowledge of the wines seemed good too - she just didn’t seem to be that into being there. She never talked about the olive oils or honey and didn’t really promote the sale of any of the products. Truthfully, we probably would have bought olive oil and some wine had she even mentioned it.

5 October tour and tasting (Elise)My family and I had the best time trying different wines and olive oils. We learned so much about how everything is harvested, processed and what the different types of each taste like. The host was very friendly and informative and we even got to see the locals working on their own olive oil! I would highly recommend adding this stop in your journey, and if I’m ever in the area again I will gladly make another stop!

The food was delicious, the wines were very enjoyable, and Vincenzo the sommelier answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. All staff were very hospitable, and our server Valentina did an excellent job. The location is stunningly beautiful, with a large terrace offering a panoramic view of Mt. Etna and the surrounding agricultural area. Highly recommended!

5 Fabulous Day! (Patricia Barnden)What a great experience my family and I had here! We were welcomed into the vineyard waiting area and offered drinks after our journey. Whilst waiting for the other members of the group, we were able to relax in the very comfortable seating area which was nice. We were then given a tour around the vineyard by a very knowledgeable lady (apologies, I forgot you name) who educated us in the different ways of growing grapes and the maintenance of the land. She answered every question we had, without hesitation. Then, it was on to the wine tasting which, again, was very informative. With each wine we were provided with a different type of food which was a lovely surprise as we were only expecting bread, cheese and cold meats! We enjoyed ourselves so much here and were not hurried whatsover, we were allowed the time to enjoy the breathtaking views from the great big windows! I would not hesitate in recommending Palmento Costanzo!

5 Best wine tasting ever (Mihaela)We are funs of wine tasting, so we had few around the world. The thing is , thelis was the best. Definitely worth taking and I recomand having the full tasting with lunch included. So, we learned a lot about the wines of Edna, we visited the impresive production area. Cosimo, our guide was very professional and generous in explaining everything and unswering all our questions. We tasted more wines then writen on the offer and enjoyed all of them very much. 5 An unforgettable Saturday afternoon (Diana-Maria)The way up can be a bit scary, but after you get there, it is worth the experience! The location has a pretty terrace with a breathtaking view. The wines we tried were very good (which can be no surprise for a winery), and the food was amazing! The lentil and chickpea soup was something you can't forget very easily! 5 Amazing Experience in Antichi Vinai (Trisha)We were doing a cruise trip and decided to do wine tasting. We were 40 mins late (not proud of it) and worried that we won’t be accommodated. But Viviana was still welcoming and very understanding. We tried 3 types of wine – prosecco, white, and red. She also explained the history of Etna wines and their winery. We’ve learned a lot from her. We ended up purchasing 2 red wines. I recommend coming here. It was such a delightful experience. We’d do it again.

5 Interesting wine and incredible food (Joe)We loved our afternoon at Emilio Sciacca. Our guide for the first part of the tour was the sommelier and he was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. Though the weather wasn’t great for our visit he still took us outside to explain the wine growing and making process with such passion. The facilities are great—it’s a converted old Palmeto (wine making press). On better weather days I am sure the views are unbelievable. The wines are really unique and interesting but what really made the day was the 3-course full lunch. The food was fantastic-legitimately gourmet restaurant quality. We loved our experience—don’t hesitate to book and support this boutique vineyard!

5 Absolutely worth it! (Oliver)Our Wine and Olive Oil tasting was great! We got a warm welcome and the experience started with a 60 minutes tour trough the beautiful farm and factory close to the etna. Really interesting and well explained, especially the walktrough the process of olive oil! After the tour the tasting startet, first the olive oil (insanely good, we didnt even know there was a way how to taste olive oil!), after the oil we tasted 3 different wines. After the tasting the guide gave us time to eat the cold cuts, accompanied by the wines and olives. It almost felt like having a apero with friends, the atmosphere was amazing! After all, it was a truly worthy experience (even better then expected) and i'd defenitely reccommend it to everyone that has a sense of gourmet food or just to everyone that is into trying and seeing how non masss products are made / taste. He spent several hours with us and explained the proper way to taste the wine and to appreciate characteristics of a good wine.
