I write this while still at the location. I attended with my four children aged15,13,10 and 8 at 4pm. There is no self check-in, only one member of staff working the till and my intention was to sit in the cafe while the children played. The cafe area and upstairs seating area are very depressing and do not encourage you to stay.
Only one member of staff working the cafe so when she had to split her time between cooking and serving. I only wanted a coffee, but left the queue realising she was working alone.
The seating areas are akin to prison visiting room; dark lighting and furniture with black walls is not a nice place to sit for two hours.
No thought has been put in to that.
In this modern day I don’t feel it’s much to provide a comfortable sitting area for adults who’s children are old enough to play without the adult supervision.
Understandably I left and went I nearby costa while they played.
The kids had fun but at £118 I would expect better!
