Not usually a taker of package holidays I was unsure as to what to expect, having heard the usual horror stories. I am pleased to say the whole experience was faultless, from the booking, the flights, the transfers and the accommodation. The Palace Hotel in Sliema was excellent, good breakfasts, good Asian restaurant, and staff very friendly. Valleta just a few minutes away by ferry, one way, return, or a weeks ticket giving unlimited crossings for 10 euros. Loads to see, lots of history, restaurants of all varieties, about the same price as the UK. The area has lopts of hills, you can't avoid them, so some comfy shoes are a must. Can be windy as well, depending on where you are and the time of day. Overall a top week.
