It is getting harder to find genuinely polished, modern work on ThemeForest. A lot of the catalog feels outdated and the listings haven't kept up with current design standards. Fresh, high-quality items rarely shows up anymore. So, the marketplace feels stale compared to what's out there today. If they don't start bringing in new, well crafted products more regularly, there's little reason to keep comming back.

Great platform for finding professional WordPress themes at reasonable prices.

Why aren't these scammers blocking their website? I bought a website template from them and they're extorting money from me to open it.

They are scamming people don't give your msny back even if they can't fix the problems of the page scammers 100% I will repot them, even my bsnk call me because they are scammers , DON'T BUY ON THERMESFORES OR ENVATO THEY ARE THE SAME

I bought their Salient theme nine months ago, associated with my Apple ID. I realized that I wasn't getting emails regarding theme updates, even though I checked the box to get updates. Assuming it was an issue with Apple's email relay, I used Themeforest's option to change my account to using my email address directly.

Unfortunately, once I tried to make the change, I was locked out of my account. I contacted Themeforest three times (over a month) via their Support page, uploading a copy of my theme license to prove I was legitimate, requesting access back to my account. They never responded.

I’ve been using XY Theme (RoseaThemes) for my Moodle platform and I’m very impressed. The design is modern, clean, and fully responsive, which makes the LMS look much more professional. It’s fast, easy to customize, and works smoothly without technical issues.

The built-in page and menu builder give a lot of flexibility, and the documentation/support are very helpful. Overall, a high-quality theme that significantly improves both usability and appearance. Highly recommended!

I have a cooperation with themeforest about 10+ years with no problems. Everything is fine also support is excellent.

Corruption as far as the sore eye can see. Purchased a theme for £85 when later discovered elementor limited version was on it forcing people buying whole version, quode from theme forest in there and wonderblocks all nicely together to get your mind bonkers!!! What a shit deal. AVOID AT All COST be aus you only pay pay pay …

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEMESTREET! The themes they sell are nice but they offer zero tutorials and you have to pay them to do it for you. Unless you have technical background you will need assistance to customize it. They only accept email. They do not provide a number to call anyone. We paid $400 a theme and when we received it, we asked for a refund. They refused our refund stating it was not cancelled within 7 business days, which was a lie. Please beware do not order it!!!!

Zero support, don't bother to reply to support tickets.
Honestly - was with them since 2012.

I'd avoid at all costs. I bought a theme from TemplateTrip through Themeforest / EnvatoMarket.

In the end, I requested a refund and TemplateTrip asked me to provide them with my Purchase Code. But because I'd opened a dispute, Templateforest blocked my account. So I am unable to access my Purchase Code.

I've contacted Templateforest regarding this but they haven't replied and it's been days..

We've been using ThemeForest for years and all the products we've purchased have always worked well. However, our last product didn't work and was completely broken. We opened a dispute on PayPal for a refund and were blocked from our account. ThemeForest support requested a pause in the PayPal dispute. And now they claim they won't issue a refund even after reviewing our case and hundreds of negative reviews from the seller? This is an illegal practice since the product arrived completely broken. We no longer trust any Envato service.

You know, it really stinks I'm writing this because I actually do like this website. After I left a honest review about one of their sellers themes, they removed it to protect their reputation. We should have the right to post a review about a product we don't like. For this, I have to point the finger at Envato for ill practices.

I must say, this has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
My web developer purchased the Rare Radio theme from your platform. He recommended buying it from his country of residence because it was more affordable than purchasing it from mine.
A recent update to the theme has drastically affected my website, leaving me with no choice but to reach out to you. Due to his workload and personal issues, I contacted you on his behalf—with his full permission. Initially, your responses were promising.
However, after I provided his email address and other relevant details, the communication abruptly stopped. It’s now been three days without a single reply.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Ghosting customers who are trying to resolve legitimate issues reflects poorly on your business. If you required my developer to contact you directly, you could have simply said so.
I’ve since checked your reviews on Trustpilot and noticed your rating is below 3.5 stars—which, frankly, aligns with my experience. I no longer wish to be associated with your company or products. I will be removing my site and discontinuing use of the Newsmag theme I purchased from you years ago.
Your service has left me thoroughly disappointed.

Their support is non-existent, basically selling any code that gets given to them and (plugins with "Pro features" that eventually don't work), stating that support is only offered by the author. No quality control that I can see. They rely on you not asking for your money back, and make it extremely difficult to ask for a refund (hiding their policies and refund options on their site). Their refund policy is that they "don't do refunds", they know the products are poor same as their reviews.

46 purchase not available anymore basically payed for all and if you dont download never available again so wasting money and time because theme forest or envato can decide to remove item next day and no support no update!

We've had a theme by themeforest/envato for a few years and ran into a few issues but for the most its been ok. We recently just used their paid support team for the first time, and while they fixed the issue, we received blunt replies and no explanation for what the issue was.. If I'm honest, I'd avoid purchasing a theme from here unless you have in-house wordpress experience to fix in-house as our website was unusable for 4 days due theme issues

Unfortunately, the updated theme I have downloaded from their website had a malware that redirected everyone to another page, which affected both my website's image (and my credibility with clients) and my actual work. I have explained them a few times that I had to delete the entire website and start from scratch, and they could verify this if they wish by going to my website now to see that I have installed another theme from zero, which I will have to re-update. All these losses were caused by the deficiencies that their theme, which I bought with my own money, brought upon me. It is not pleasant at all to go through such a situation. Considering all the damage their theme has caused me, I would have expected at least to get back the money I paid (although the loss I have is far beyond that value). I note with astonishment, however, that they are not taking responsibility for this, and they didn`t refund at all. In my oppinion it is not possible for such errors to "slip through" on their website, and for them not to assume the damages they caused to people who pay for their services.

Decent service, not bad though. There are alternatives at better price and higher quality, but this one has a lot of variety.

I dealt with Theme Forest several months ago for the UNCODE theme. I had to delete it and my WordPress for technical reasons. When I tried to validate my activation key, it was impossible (supposedly because I'd used it too much!!! Even though it's a "LIFETIME" activation code). I had to fight with them for days and finally won, but the problem came back a while ago, and now it took less time. It wasn't normal for me to be stuck with this problem.

About two weeks ago, I purchased the HOUZEZ theme. I downloaded it, but some important features were impossible to load.

So, FAVETHEMES support took over. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised because they did everything they could to help me and finally succeeded (I'm still waiting for a few functional additions from them because Elementor is still a bit buggy).

I thanked them by email because they were really great!
