I appreciate that UK Baby Centre has reviewed the matter and that inspections did not identify a manufacturing fault. However, my review reflects my personal experience of using the pushchair.

The concerns I raised were not based on a single incident. Throughout my use of the Mamas & Papas Strada, I experienced repeated instability, tilting, wobbling wheels, difficulty travelling in a straight line and an unstable handle. These issues were reported at the time they occurred.

My son was injured when the pushchair tilted and he fell out, scraping his head and requiring an A&E visit when he was five months old. This incident was reported to UK Baby Centre at the time.

After the pushchair was inspected and returned to me, I continued to experience the same concerns. The pushchair still did not travel in a straight line, remained unstable during use and I continued to experience tilting issues. On more than one occasion my son tilted whilst in the pushchair, including during travel on public transport, which further affected my confidence in its safety.

Because the issues I experienced continued after inspection, I ultimately stopped using the pushchair altogether and purchased a replacement stroller at my own expense. I purchased the bundle expecting to use it for several years, however I was unable to continue using the stroller after only a short period due to the ongoing concerns I experienced.

I also note that, despite being advised that no manufacturing fault was identified, UK Baby Centre has since confirmed that components including the handle were replaced during a later inspection. Unfortunately, this did not change my experience of the product, as the issues I had reported remained unresolved.

I first reported these concerns in 2024 and have spent a significant amount of time trying to resolve this matter. During the complaint process, the pushchair remained with UK Baby Centre for many months and there were periods where my emails requesting updates went unanswered.

I understand that inspections did not identify a manufacturing fault, but that does not change my experience of using the product or the reasons why I felt unable to continue using it with my child.

My review reflects both my experience with the pushchair and the length of time it has taken to try to resolve this matter.

Perfect

I’ve ordered from them twice, and both times everything went smoothly. Fast and helpful customer service, quick delivery, and they use DPD, which is always a bonus. Very happy with the overall experience and would definitely recommend them.

Brilliant company all-round

Ordered a pram and was delivered the next day!
Had an issue with DPD (no fault at all with UK Baby Centre) - but Charlotte was amazing and went above and beyond to help me!
Pram was delivered and brilliant.
Customer service was amazing from both Charlotte & Russell!
Thank you guys so much - I will be ordering again!

Tragic customer service

Tragic customer service. They will sell you stuff, no problems with that, but if anything goes wrong they couldn't care less.

My buggy broke after 3 months, I spent 5 days talking to a guy over email and after that he decided I need to send buggy to manufacturer. He washed his hands, they are just a middle man and don't want to take any responsibility for supplying defective product. No replacement, no real involvement, not trying to help me in any way.

2 weeks down I'm still chasing to learn what did manufacturer say. Response I get is: I will send a chaser. No mate, you sold me garbage product, give me my money back.

I explained that I have NO buggy now. They say that MAYBE manufacturer can lend me a buggy. Oh cool, obviously that was the end of it.

AVOID THIS USELESS MIDDLE MAN!

I have looked into this and can see that our warranty team have dispatched a replacement stroller for you this afternoon.

I am sorry you have not been satisfied with the service we have provided. We facilitate the warranties for all that we sell, but they are still fulfilled by the manufacturer for anything that is over 30 days old. This is why they had to wait for them before we could issue the replacement.

Excellent customer service

Found the pushchair I wanted at such a good price and I have been so pleased with the service. Ordered online and it arrived the very next day. I had some trouble folding it down but the team sent me a video using their display model in store and made it so simple to understand. Will definitely use again, appreciate your help!
