Extremely disappointing experience with Tide.
I have been dealing with an ongoing issue involving refunds that were rejected by Tide’s system. Whilst some of these transactions have since been successfully processed, Tide has failed to provide any clear explanation as to why others remain unresolved.
What has been most frustrating is the handling of my complaint. I have repeatedly had to chase for updates, only to receive delayed responses that simply repeat the same information without properly addressing the points raised. Despite having an active complaint, the latest response appeared to be little more than a generic template and failed to answer key questions regarding the investigation, the inconsistent treatment of transactions, or the steps being taken to resolve the matter.
To add to this, Tide previously offered £50 compensation for the issues experienced, yet their latest complaint response did not even acknowledge this.
As a business owner, I expect transparency, accountability and effective communication from my banking provider. Unfortunately, my experience with Tide has been the complete opposite. The lack of ownership and poor complaint handling has seriously undermined my confidence in the company, and I am now actively considering moving my business banking elsewhere.
I would not recommend Tide based on my experience.

I am very disappointed 😞. You cannot do or pay whatever you want. I have a limited in my transactions and I can't change it. I can't do anything with my money.

Was ok but I find things hard to navigate especially to bank account numbers and Tide business details but the more I access the more it will become easier

Avoid if your a small business
If your a victim of fraud they won’t give you your money back also said I can’t have my money back because I’ve cancelled my card due to fraudulent activity and a refund has been processed from another company but they have declined it. Absolutely shocking service will be changing my back asap.

In week one with this bank they froze my account with 250k in leaving me helpless to make essential payments for my business like wages, suppliers, etc.
With only a dozen transactions they said it should take 20 days to resolve it’s now day 33 with no meaningful updates provided.
I’m in the process of liquidating assets, cars, etc just to pay essential bills.
How can businesses be expected to survive freezes like this and be left in the dark, all transactions were standard domestic payments certainly nothing out the ordinary.
This could cause major issues for me if not resolved soon.

Tide you have responded my main issue is the transaction were standard and in line with the information provided when setting the account up, i made 4 payments only I think so not much to investigate and perhaps it could have been addressed before opening the account.
