6 weeks from non runner to 10km!

6 weeks from non runner to 10km!

If you’d have asked me 6 weeks ago if I would be running 10km by now I’d have laughed!

I’ve been consistent to the subscription programme I set to run a half marathon by October. 3 runs a week, following the distances, not so concerned about the times, always doing the minimum warm and cool down (even when it hurts or doesn’t feel needed).

This weekend I bought my first pair of tailored running shoes - and I am loving tracking my progress.

I think Ruut has made me a runner 😳😉😊😊😊

Great customer service

The app didn't work for me, however, their customer service is responsive and helpful. Ada was professional and friendly and dealt with my query straight away.

Much information based on facts

I tried Ruut HRV-plans and it seems very interesting. Following tips made my HRV to rise pretty fast higher than ever before. Also their customer service is brilliant.

Be aware this is a subscription service

I paid initially thinking it was a one off payment. I did not realise it was a subscription service, i feel this could have been highlighted more clearly. I looked at the information once or twice and found it quite difficult to follow, so i haven't used it at all, kicking myself for the money I had paid. Today, I had quite a large payment taken from my bank for a 3 month subscription. I contacted customer services, who were fantastic, a very prompt response although highlighting that it is in fact a subscription service that I did sign up for (even if unwittingly) They could see that i hadnt used the service and agreed to refund half of the subscription fee. Although I am still out of pocket, it felt like a fair compromise and will teach me to read things fully in future before signing up. Thanks to April, the 4 stars are for her.
