Everything made easy by the excellent staff and customer services team. RV was excellent and made for a fantastic way to explore California

The service done by the Roadbear Team on site was perfect. Check in and check out were seamless and easy. The team was great and even small changes in requirements were done instantly and fair.

The RVs had some small issues (generator did nor work well sometimes and in one of our two rental RVs the heating did not work (which was only a problem one night when we rested in about 3000 m altitude). Equippment in RVs was great and nothing missed (except a broom in one of the cars - no problem, we shared ;-)).

Location was great as well. We really appreciated the Roadbear assistance when we had a flat tire. Even on Sundy they managed to fix it within 2 hours (in a remote place). Our trip in general was phantastic and I vcan only recommend to explore the Rockies and trust in Roadbaer.

We had a few issues but Road Bear provided mostly great service to keep our trip going. The RV was really smooth and easy to drive on good roads. Issues and fixes were: 1) reserved a 24' RV but was given a 27'. 2 of our campsites had a 25' limit, but we were able to sneak it in. 2) generator stopped working before we even left the pickup station. RB replaced the fuel filter and it worked fine all trip. 3) Fresh water tank leaked 50 gallons a day. Had to fill constantly and then drive to RV repair facility, but not too far out of the way. Easy fix once we got there. 4) Batteries went dead in just a few hours. RB sent me to the wrong place to have them replaced, but eventually it all got fixed and RB took care of everything. That one did cost us a half day. RB gave us a $300 credit, so overall pretty happy with them.

Very very good service, nice staff, easy fast communication. We had some hiccups during our 63 nights in the RV, but roadbear did everything to help us out. It's an easy camper to work with if you never camped before. We had a great time

The pickup and drop-off were excellent as always, and the motorhome performed very well.

We had an outstanding and memorable experience with Road Bear in San Francisco (San Leandro), made truly exceptional thanks to the incredible dedication and expertise of the mechanics.
Not long after picking up our RV, we had an accident with another car that damaged the right-front corner and door. We called the helpline right away and went back to the San Leandro depot. The next morning, we were still shaken and worried about our four-week trip. We were glad we had the best insurance, but since it was Memorial Day weekend, we didn’t expect to get a replacement van. To our surprise, the branch manager told us the mechanics could replace the door so we could keep going. Four hours later, we were back on the road. The repair was so good you couldn’t tell there had been any damage. We ended up having a great adventure in northern California.

The van was wonderful: the bed , very comfortable; the kitchen was very well equipped, with everything we would need to self-cater on our journey. Although we mostly used the showers at the campsites, we also used the shower in the van and were impressed by the size of the shower cubicle and the power of the shower. We drove a total of 1600 miles, and the van handled the array of roads very well, although some of the roads on CA 1 and in the Redwoods were narrow at times.

We are deeply appreciative of the entire depot staff, whose kindness, professionalism, and can-do spirit turned a stressful situation into a positive one. A heartfelt thank you, especially to the talented mechanics for their swift and skilful help—we truly couldn’t have continued our journey without you.

We love using Road Bear. Beautiful RV’s, great customer service—we have used Road Bear for several years and will gladly use them again! Only downside for us is location—open a branch up north :)

We had rented a 25' from Road Bear. RV was in very good condition and clean. We a a 42 day trip. We also had a package with unlimited miles, unlimited generator usage, and full insurance. Price for what we got was okay. Checkout without problems, checkin could be solved a bit better ..

We had a good experience with Road Bear RV. The RV was very well maintained and clean.

The individual that checked us in was not as knowledgeable as we would have liked. He was not familiar with troubleshooting the Wifi and was quick to compensate rather than solve the issue. We did not figure out how to maximize the AC output until day 2.
Checkout was odd. We had prepaid for an airport shuttle. We were told the shuttle was unavailable and would utilize an Uber ride. They would NOT request the ride for another 30 minutes. We still don't know why. The staff members involved were strangely indifferent and evasive.

The staff in San Leandro and Las Vegas is fantastic, and the service is very good. They’re friendly and helpful.
However, we were disappointed with the amenities and condition of our RV. This should be better with a premium provider.
For example, the mattress was completely sagging, so it felt like lying directly on a wooden board. There was also nowhere to hang towels. Trim pieces came loose on rough roads. At some point, the refrigerator stopped working, and we had to throw away all our food. On the positive side, though, we were near Las Vegas at the time and were able to drive to the rental station there without any problems, where the refrigerator was repaired within an hour.

Very Nice. All the staff is nice, the ford f450 for the 30 feet RV is great. The model.of the RV was a 2026.

Good service &. Reasonable priced

The staff at the LV location are very friendly, professional and very easy to work with. They had everything ready when we got there and check in and check out were flawless. I would definitely recommend the Las Vegas location.

Sabine and the crew at the New York/NJ location are wonderful. I have rented an RV from them for 4 years now and it has always been a pleasant and professional experience throughout the process! We are very satisfied customers and intend to keep going there, even though they moved slightly further away.
