User friendly, easy to understand

The staff is amazing

I wanted to say positive things about this academy, but I can't recommend it based on my experience. The institute falls short in its academic standards and the level of support it provides its students.
Don't be misled by the promises of a faster path into the workforce or guaranteed job placement. In my experience, those claims don't reflect reality unless you're already working in the medical field.
Communication from the advising staff was often inconsistent, and follow-up was unreliable. The program felt highly disorganized, making it difficult to get the guidance and support students should expect.
Overall, I believe prospective students would be better served by attending a more established, accredited institution that provides stronger technical education and better student support.

LaKeisha, has been walking with me on this journey since the first time I've spoken to hear on my first coaching session. And she has guided my steps all the way through. I hope we can finish this process as strong as we started.

Working with Coach LaKeisha has been an incredible experience. From my very first session, I could tell how much she genuinely cares about her students and wants each of us to succeed. She always goes above and beyond to make sure we understand the material and never makes anyone feel like they're asking too many questions.

One of the things I appreciate most is that I've always felt comfortable asking questions without feeling rushed or judged. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and patiently until it makes sense. Every session has been engaging, supportive, and something I genuinely look forward to.
What stands out the most to me is her passion for teaching. You can see how much she loves what she does because she brings that same energy, encouragement, and dedication to every session. I really like health tech academy as it makes it possible for single moms like myself to complete school with the self paced classes. My coach LaKeisha has been amazing throughout the whole experience. Always there to help!

I really appreciate the ability to go at my own pace with the course as a student in the Surgical Technologist Program, with having a full time job i was able to really study when i could with my own set schedule. The coaches were amazing with helping me along the way with any questions and even guidance with what to expect starting out! Special shout out to Robin, Malika and Anthony for their help when I needed it.

My 1 on 1 experience with Malika Haider, was very friendly and helpful. She went to into details about my next steps with clinicals and also highly understanding.

I feel like personally HTA is a helpful option for someone who doesn't have time to go back to school and requires flexibility. Online programs in general are kind of a teach yourself thing so having discipline and motivation are important. The staff at HTA are very helpful. When I first enrolled I did kinda feel as though it was impossible to get ahold of anyone ,but it has gotten a lot better. I believe this program is new and still growing but I definitely endorse it to be a good school with remarkable instructors and helpful advisors. Now the down side is with this school you wont receive help with finding clinical placement this is something you have to do on your own. It is very frustrating so before you apply i would advise you to look into hospitals/ASCs around you, ask around and see what kinda options you have as far as clinical rotations go. Im enrolled in the Surgical Tech Program and I am in the process of starting my second externship. As long as you stay on top of your education and advocate for yourself you will do great. I'm not done with my education journey but I am glad I choose HTA I have learned a lot.

The ease of each module

My career advisor Malika Haider is very helpful. She always advocated for all of my inguiries.

Excellent staff. Very welcoming and they answer all questions. The online program is easy to navigate. Mrs. Robin Crims's coaching sessions were eye opening. Her sessions filled in all the gaps and brought better understanding on what i've already learned in this program. I have a better understanding of my role and what is expected of me in the OR. There's enough study resources to prepare for the exam and guide me throughout my first entry job in surgery.

What made this experience great is that Ms.Palmer was very kind, generous, and informative. I love how she gave me so much insight and feedback for every question I had. Ms.Palmer actually broaden my perspective on future career roles in spd based on the knowledge she shared. I love a coach that’s willing to go above and beyond. I’m grateful.

The institute's staffs were excellently approachable. They are readily available to address any concern that i put across.
