Im using it for royalty free music and sound effects. I find inspiration fast and everything is easy. Thank you.
They generally couldn’t get anything right from the most simplest of detail.
Music, images and music was a complete waste of time and money.
It can not follow simple directions and instructions.
I highly recommend not using the AI platform.
Because I even explained to chat gpt what I wanted to do after being frustrated and they said they would put it into words for artlist to understand better.
I copied and pasted from chat gpt and artlist still had no idea what was going on.
The whole experience was like going to McDonald’s for a burger and them handing you a pair of socks and a some goggles.

i had used the platform for a project and accidentally forgot to cancel the subscription.
I thought i had just lost the money but reached out to customer support and it was solved in 2 minutes! with a whole refund re issued!
This is BS. they are promoting a speech to speech service and they start limiting once you've payed. Asking for a refund but they won't give it. They can stick it up...

Great service, super fast and they solved my problem. I wanted to cancel a subscription with AI credits, and everything went smoothly

Terrible customer experience. They advertise as if they are veo 3.1, which is just a gemini model. I was trying to get to veo 3.1 and artlist.io came up as the first result in a search that takes you right into a signup. I thought I was just trying it but I was signed up for an annual subscription without realizing it. After about 1 hour of trial and error with their app I realized they are a third party, not the owners of veo 3.1 so I stopped using it. Then I saw a charge for $149 which I did not expect. I requested politely that they provide a refund and after several exchanges they refused to do so because "I use the application" which prevents customer service from issuing a refund.
Even if I _had_ intended to use their app and realized I didn't need or want it after 1 hour, any company with good customer service would issue a refund, but they refuse and continue citing their policies. This underscores the fact that their advertising and signup process is misleading and you get into an annual subscription without realizing it.

I subscribed to Artlist primarily for its AI voice generation tools and initially found the technology itself to be quite good but sluggish. The quality of the generated narration was strong, and for a time, it became an important part of my content production workflow.
Unfortunately, my experience with the company behind the product has left me with little desire to continue using it.
My biggest issue is the credit system. Like many users, I paid for access expecting that the credits I had already effectively paid for would remain available to me. Instead, I discovered that unused credits are forfeited when a subscription ends. While this may be stated somewhere in the terms, it feels fundamentally unfair. If a customer has paid for a resource, there is a reasonable expectation that the resource remains available until it is used. The policy creates pressure to consume credits before cancelling rather than allowing customers the flexibility to return later.
What disappointed me even more was the attitude of customer support. Rather than demonstrating any genuine understanding of why customers find this policy frustrating, responses felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely focused on enforcing company policy. At no point did I feel that anyone was actually trying to help or even acknowledge the legitimacy of the concern.
The impression I was left with is that this is not simply a customer service issue but a cultural one. The responses appeared designed to close tickets rather than solve problems. There seems to be an underlying assumption that if a policy exists, customer frustration is irrelevant. That may be efficient internally, but it does little to build long-term trust or goodwill.
The product itself has value, sluggish as it is. The technology is capable with patience. However, trust matters. A company can have excellent tools and still lose customers if its policies and customer interactions leave people feeling that they are being managed rather than supported.
I ultimately decided to move away from Artlist and explore alternatives because I no longer felt confident that the company's interests were aligned with those of its customers.

Instead for one month, I purchased a subscription for one year. I explained my issue to the support team and they refunded my money in just two days. Btw, we are using Artgrid since it's very beginning and so pleased with the quality and the diversity of content available on their platform.

I lost 110,000 credits from one day to the next, and my subscription completely disappeared.
I paid for the subscription again, but the credits are still not reflected in my account.
I have now been waiting two days for this to be fixed, with no proper resolution or support.
This is honestly horrible customer service. It's been 4 days and still no resolution!! This is infuriating.

My first use creating a video on the platform and the result is completely useless. Nothing like what I asked for in the prompt. I asked for a refund and they refused because I have downloaded the results. Waste of money and time.

I signed up for Artlist’s AI Suite 240K plan and purchased 240,000 credits because I had an active project deadline.
After using only a small portion of the credits — roughly 20,000–30,000 at most — I logged back in the next day and my remaining credits were gone. My account showed the plan as expired and asked me to reactivate, despite the fact that I had just paid.
I contacted support immediately and have now gone five days without a resolution. I have emailed and dealt with multiple people, and there does not seem to be any consistency in the customer service process. Each interaction feels like starting over again, even though I have already explained the issue, provided my invoice, and sent screenshots of my account showing the problem.
The most frustrating part is that I purchased this specifically to complete time-sensitive creative work, and because my paid credits disappeared and support has not resolved the issue, I missed my deadline and used an alternative service.
Losing access to purchased credits without warning is bad enough. Waiting five days with no clear resolution, no restored credits, and no consistent support process is unacceptable.
At this point, I would recommend using another service instead of Artlist’s AI credit system. The headache, runaround, lack of consistent support, and risk of losing access to paid credits simply is not worth risking your hard-earned money.
There are other AI image and video tools available, and based on my experience, I would strongly suggest choosing one with clearer billing, better account transparency, and more reliable customer support. When someone pays for credits, those credits should be available. Period.
My advice to anyone considering Artlist’s AI credit plans: be very careful. Screenshot everything, keep your invoice, monitor your credit balance, and do not rely on the service for deadline-driven work unless you are prepared for the possibility that your paid credits may disappear with no immediate resolution.
Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend using Artlist.io - borderline scamming service. I will be issuing a chargeback, which, regrettably, my banking institution is asking me to allow 15 days for resolution.
If anyone from Artlist.IO is reading this... my invoice #25869980, purchase date June 13, 2026.
June 20th - Still no resolution. Still no response from my support ticket from yesterday.

They have great video stuff. But its extremely expensive my bill says 40 bucks but my receipt is closer to 50 with tax and card fees. And if account cannot be charged the 40 bucks again your stuff/ projects and remaining tokens i had about half of what i paid for left. Those also disappear. you get enough tokens for 3 1080p 15 t0 20 second short videos for almost 50 bucks and generate image somewhere else. Only generate Animation here. over 700 credits to generate 1 10 sec image. But not really 10 seconds closer to 8. crazy way, way over priced. and if your not paying the site seems to not have a lot for you. 1 free video is 4 to 8 seconds long, Maybe. had to use 3rd party review app and if you try and contact for me i was in a loop I hit contact us, and looped back to home page over and over and over. every time you click contact us you will go to a page that you cannot contact developer. I wish there was a negative. this app made millions quick deceiving people BEWARE

Poor customer service, and buggy website with a non-intuitive interface apparently designed to generate higher billings for the company. I emailed customer service, and the only reply I received was that the problem I was having was solved, but it was not.

Used to use Artlist regularly to source music and sound effects for videos, but this insatiable push into garbage slop-making AI tools has absolutely tarnished their reputation for me. Awful, unintuitive website will have you searching for hours and since their push into AI, the music has become far more generic and... bad!
Will not be resubscribing, avoid.
