Moseley Old Hall
Moseley Old Hall
In the hands of the National Trust since the 1960s, Moseley Old Hall's most celebrated moment came in September 1651 when the deposed king Charles hid here for three nights on his way from being roundly defeated at the Battle of Worcester. Despite now being on the edge of the busy urban West Midlands, and with the M54 rushing by, in the seventeenth century this was a real backwater.
