The old Cannock Road

Long since replaced by the modern A460 just to the east, this disused stretch of the Cannock Road is still there (complete with kerbs, cats eyes and everything) and used as a footpath. And by scavs a dumping ground for litter, apparently.

Knot garden

Moseley's Tudor-style knot garden looks good at first glance, but closer inspection reveals a few problems, including box blight and an infestation of box moth. The National Trust is experimenting with ideas for suitable replacement plants.
