Altrincham produced a dominant performance to ease to victory against Hornchurch in the National League.

The opening goal came in the third added minute of the first half, with Sam Taylor ensuring Altrincham went into the break on the front foot when he scored at the near post.

Altrincham maintained momentum in the second half and struck again in the 54th minute, this time courtesy of a well-judged Charlie Kirk lob.

Just three minutes later Jimmy Knowles added a third goal for Altrincham, collecting the ball after a foiled attempt and subsequently heading home to ensure three points which lift the hosts to eighth in the table.
