By far the worst ID verification system…

By far the worst ID verification system I have ever encountered. I completed a similar process with another platform on the first try, but LinkedIn has kept me stuck for days. I’ve tried 42 times, switched devices, cleared caches, and followed every troubleshooting step in their handbook, yet I still cannot verify my identity.

To make matters worse, support is completely incompetent. Every email I get from them is just a copy-paste of a help article I’ve already tried. They don’t read the tickets, they don’t escalate issues as promised, and they don't seem to care that their "technical" issues are actively blocking users from building their presence on the platform. Avoid this process if you can.

Never sign up with this

Never sign up with this. nonsense of company! I tried to delete my account, and already this procedure is extremely time consuming. they ask you first to reset the email. then on delete account there is no eye (see password) feature, so you can't see what you are typing. finally once apparatently you manage to delete your account, they keep sending email. if you click even by mistake on the email content they AUTOMATICALLY REACTIVATE your account, and they start sending even more emails! this is a total violation of GDPR laws. Someone should sue this shtty company in class action.

A 3-Week Nightmare: LinkedIn Refuses to Let a Business Owner Pay a $110 Bill!

I have been trapped in a corporate customer service nightmare with LinkedIn Marketing Solutions for over three weeks. Because of a simple, automated billing decline on a $110.40 ad boost, LinkedIn's backend software hard-locked my dashboard into a "Not Active" status.

I want to pay them. My card is active and ready. But their broken online system won't process it, and their front-line support staff is entirely incompetent.

Over the last 21 days, my ticket has been passed around between three different agents (Gration, Priscilla, and Abdul) who clearly do not read the account history. They keep blindly copy-pasting the exact same generic troubleshooting scripts, blaming my bank, and demanding I extract developer "HAR files" just to settle a basic invoice.

Even after providing explicit, written authorization for their technical team to access my account and clear the block, they continue to circle in loops, give contradictory instructions that break my ad status further, and refuse to escalate the issue to a supervisor.

LinkedIn is actively disrupting my business marketing and holding my account hostage over a glitch on their own platform. Three weeks. Three agents. Zero resolution. Unacceptable.

I would rather beg on the street

Honestly, overall dissapointed. In my years of using it, I gave up. It just feels like a scam at this point. No matter how you make your profile better and how much experience you have, it's just never good enough, and the amount of notifications you get is insane. Just absolutely horrible.

Low quality

I have been on LinkedIn for over 20 years, and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing when it comes to career advancement and finding meaningful, high-quality job opportunities. While the platform is marketed as a place to build professional connections and grow careers, I have found that it often feels ineffective and overly saturated. Despite investing significant time networking, maintaining my profile, and engaging with content, it has not produced the level of professional opportunities I expected. In my experience, there are other platforms and direct networking approaches that have been more productive and valuable for securing legitimate career growth and quality employment opportunities.

Been a member for decades and out of the blue I get a "Your account is temporarily frozen" about 3 months ago or so. Why? Who knows, not me. And to get any help (Bwahahahaha) you have to be logged in OR verify your ID. I've gone thru the verification process a coupe of times and guess what. Damn, you guessed it, same "temporarily frozen" message again and again, ad nauseum. I absolutely DO NOT recommend LinkedIn.

I don't think they test anything before…

I don't think they test anything before they release it. Almost every part of the platform has a bug, you can tell Microsoft are heavily involved with the number of bugs. From locking down the support function to people who are logged in (so if your issue is account access, good luck) to the web forms that require you to enter your URL, but whoever built the form has made it mandatory to contain an @ symbol... So you can't enter your URL as no URL has an @ in it.

If I could rate it zero I would and they ask for a pretty penny on this very low rated , not networking or business professional friendly platform . Also the founder of this app was in cahoots with Epstein and makes sense . You can’t even write a real Google review about this platform like you can about any other business or small business owners . Boycott this platform all together

Atrocious service, no communication

Atrocious service, no communication.
I signed up new, and was sending invites to all the people I know, and Linked in blocked me to varify my personal.

3x verifications later, my linked in is blocked.
I cannot contact anyone.
I tried every way to contact them but they dont want to speak to you or email you..

Absolutely disgusting service.

I hope Linked in faces a new competitor as like all big companies like Airbnb etc they take the market and then screw customers over.

I can be hounded by fake linked in accounts selling me everything under the sun, but when an honest person tries to grow their network, Linked in blocks it and probably gloats to investors that they blocked X numbers of accounts..

Honestly, had I not needed this crappy service for investment, I'd have buried Linked in like I have fakebook Instagram and others.

The ensh**ification of Linkedin

The ensh**ification of Linkedin

It is virtually impossible to raise a complaint with Linkedin. Searching complaint in the help center provides a narrow form about age restrictions. You will have to find an adjacent form to complain through using the other option.

However, the customer service actively prevents escalation of any claim. They follow a template, and will stop responding if your questions are too pertinent.

I wanted to raise a complaint, and the process resulted in my account being restricted and the complaint not being addressed.

I am writing to lodge a formal…

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the billing practices of LinkedIn concerning my Premium subscription.
For several months, my LinkedIn Premium subscription was billed at approximately ₦6,500 per month. I budgeted for this recurring amount based on my previous charges.

Recently last mid of May 2026 , I issued a cancel and to remove my card , However, without any clear notification or my express consent, LinkedIn recently charged my payment method approximately ₦12,000, which is almost double the amount I had previously been paying.

This unexpected deduction caused financial inconvenience because I had not budgeted for such an increase and payment. At no point was I adequately informed that my monthly subscription fee would increase to this amount before the charge was processed.

Immediately after noticing the deduction, I contacted LinkedIn and requested a refund. Instead of addressing my concerns about the increased charge, LinkedIn repeatedly stated that I was not eligible for a refund because I had "used Premium features." However, they have not provided any evidence or explanation of:

Which Premium features they claim I used after the renewal;
When those features were allegedly used;
Why I was charged a significantly higher amount without clear prior notice.
My complaint is not only simply about using Premium services, it is also about being charged an amount that I neither expected nor knowingly agreed to pay.

I respectfully request that LinkedIn either:

Issue a full refund of the subscription charge since the charge was processed without adequate notice or authorization; or
Refund the additional amount charged above my usual monthly subscription fee, as I only understood to paying approximately ₦6,500 per month.
I also request a detailed explanation of:

Why my subscription price increased from approximately ₦6,500 to approximately ₦12,000;
When and how I was notified of this increase before the charge was made;
The specific Premium features LinkedIn claims I used that allegedly make me ineligible for a refund.
I believe consumers should receive clear notice of significant price increases before their payment methods are charged. I respectfully ask that this matter be reviewed fairly and resolved promptly and my money be refunded.

I'm actually being careful accessing my linkedin page because i wouldnt want to hear i have accessed the premium feature
I request my refund , either full or part refund

Nothing free about their free trial: Deceptive marketing

I started LinkedIn using their free job postings which allowed up to 10 applicants. Upon reposting the job, I was offered a free 3-day trial for the job postings which allowed where I was told I’d get more applicants and would be charged $92 after 3 days. Well in about 2-3 hours after reposting, they charged me almost $400 and still limited the number of applicants to 10 people!

What part of the trial was free? Why was I being charged more than the $92 I thought I’d have to pay. Thank God I turned off the job listing before they started charging more, but in what world would it cost that much for a 2-3 hour job listing?

I disputed it with my card, but to no avail. I tried to talk to support, but it’s just an ai chatbot.
