Not sure that how genuine they are ...........

I was trying to change the address of my car policy which I bought from Hastings Sep 2024 and renewed it on SEP 2025 for another 12 month.
I was informed that address change can not be done in the existing policy and alternative would be cancel the current policy and loose my NCD and buy a new one which is 2X expensive than the current.
When I questioned their approach, A manager came to the phone, where he was even reluctant to provide his name.
I decided to immediately cancel the policy with Hastings and sign off with another direct insurance company.
Overall being with Hasting for 2 years, My experience today was very disappointing and not acceptable.

Was quoted £50 less for car insurance…

Was quoted £50 less for car insurance than my current supplier which was increased to more than the incumbent when I couldn’t supply NC details for 9 years NC as I was a company car driver and have since retired .
I explained I would not be using their service was it was not a financial benefit but have spent many hours on their app trying to cancel and get a refund .
Hate to think what they would be like if you had a claim to make!
