While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Ubisoft support not existing

Contacted Ubisoft for problems with Anno 1800 and supplied them with the information requested. Supplied them with the crash infos whenever THE crash (always) appeared. Never received a response until after a couple of weeks they thought the problem solved unless I did not react. Told them that the problem still existed. Weeks of silence with many crash dumps supplied, not even a hint of what the problem might appearing after weeks of happy playing. Then after weeks same reaction and closing the ticket after 4 days asking for the information I had provided months ago. Not helpful at all.

I used to be a huge backer of their games and the Tom Clacys games. But with the new extraction game i see they are the same money grabbing buzzards/vultures, the same as many other devs. No more do the advertise correctly but they advertise their games with content which is not ready. There was special comment about the "buddy pass" which was ready and then wasn't ready. I get it mistakes happen when games launch but this is not some small developer team but a huge team with enough funding, so these types of failures show their intentions. Another point is instead of listing the content as coming later they had nothing pertaining to the content, but then later said it is coming later. So i bought it only to find the content released a couple days later. I mean not a huge biggy but this company has lied way too many times, and i will not be buying their crap games in the future, regardlkess of what they try releasing. I have also opened a case on paypal against them as their site doesn't allow any refunds. I suggest skipping these conmen and rather toss your money to homeless people as then it may at least go to a better place than these conmen.
