Hidden charges after a one-time test.
As many others have noted, this app uses deceptive “dark patterns” to charge people who think they are only paying a one off fee for a once off IQ test.
I did the test within one of their ads whilst I was using another app so didn’t even (knowingly) log into their own app or website. What I thought was one off fee was in fact a “1 week trial fee” which converted to a monthly AUD$42.99 subscription which was never shown in my “Subscriptions” page in my iPhone settings app.
There was no clear or explicit content given by me to sign up to a “trial” or “subscription”.
I was under the impression that this was a one off fee not a “trial to sub” process.
Whilst these unscrupulous tactics are common, I never expected this from an Apple/iOS ecosystem.
I wish to be refunded this new charge of $42.99 and have contacted my bank to report this scam.

I'm updating my previous review because the company has now resolved my complaint in a professional and timely manner.
After contacting them, I received a response within a week, and my subscription was cancelled with a full refund processed the following week. The refund has since been credited to my account.
I appreciate the prompt handling of my case and the efforts made to resolve the issue. Based on this experience, I believe it's only fair to acknowledge the positive outcome and update my review accordingly.

scam website that will steal your money on a monthly basis forever!
I signed up for what was advertised as a one-off IQ test for €0.50 (or around €1). Without my clear knowledge or consent, I was then charged for a €30 monthly subscription. There was no proper account for me to log into and no obvious way to cancel. Thankfully, my bank blocked the attempted €30 payment before it went through. This felt like a deceptive subscription trap rather than a legitimate service. I only authorised a one-time payment and would strongly advise others to read the small print very carefully or avoid this website altogether.

Myiq take your money
Myiq on Facebook advertised an iq test for under a dollar. Through my PayPal they took out two lots of 77c then shortly $48.99. This amount was going to be taken often as of it was a subscription.
PayPal didn’t stop the authorisation and when I notified them that it was just a one off payment for one test. PayPal didn’t stop the payment and they wouldn’t stop future payments.
Myiq somehow turn it into a subscription but before, during and after the test there were no tick a box or anything looking like a subscription.
There’s a myiq complaint page on Facebook worth reading.
Dont do any tests or you’ll be paying heavily for a brief inaccurate iq test.
