I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Equity Edge.
They recently sent me an email claiming that my account activity on MT5 was accessed via a VPN from the US and Canada — supposedly on October 17. The major issue is that my account wasn’t even ready at that time, and I had no access to MT5, so the allegation makes no sense.
Even more concerning:
• My MatchTrade account was funded on November 9.
• I received “Congratulations – Your Payout Request Has Been Received!” on November 29.
• They approved my Certificate, approved my Payout, and only after all of this did they decide to block my account.
If there was truly a violation, they would not have funded the account, approved the certificate, or accepted the payout request. Their own timeline contradicts their claim.
Another frustrating part is their customer support. Whenever I raised the issue, they responded with the same repeated message:
“The team is currently following up on your concern, you will be provided with an update as soon as there is one.”
And nothing ever moved forward.
Overall, this experience feels unfair, inconsistent, and unprofessional. I hope others take this into consideration before choosing this firm.
