Order slightly delayed due to high demand, but the customer care replied to my enquiry almost immediately.
Blind arrived and very easy to install.
Now the children’s bedroom is dark enough before sunset.
Plus point is that it keeps the heat out of the room, a treat during this heatwave!

These blinds are awesome! The measuring guide is clear and worked well, the installation is a breeze and the fit is perfect. I've fitted 'cheapies' and altered them to fit many times, but for the very small price differential I would go with these blinds every time.

The blinds themselves are brilliant - a few very small gaps around the frames but to be expected as there’s only a few mm in it! The only thing is that we can’t have windows open and blinds down as the blind comes out of the track.

I contacted customer service the day i got it delivered as i was having trouble fitting the blind, the instructions were confusing, and i believed it to be the wrong size from what i had ordered. That was 3 weeks days ago, and still no reply, despite chasing.

After 2 months waiting to get these £300 blackout blinds in a frame...easy to put up and fix them.. but i was disappointing in them once i got em for couple of days and been very frustrated dealing with it to point i wanna take it all down.

( Reason it took 2 months as first month i mistakenly put wrong measurements in, forgot to put in 1000mm back in after calculations and ended up with 600mm T.T then took another month or more? to get them sorted, they been helpful but slow with emails calling was so much faster and kind service. )

Why am disappointed though? the blinds are doing my head in due to the fabric being very thin and flimsy ( they do well blocking the light 100% though ) and little short on the width, due to this the blinds themself keep coming out the frame which leaks light in, a little touch or if window is open to let some air in ( wind ).. i also got cats that paw at it to let me know they want out, that also pushes them out the frame.. they keep popping out and its annoying to put them back in.. whats the point in blocking light if they are so loose. Even if they are in the frame, i feel the bristles? inside the frame are cheap and far to soft and lacking.. this doesn't fully block the light getting through at the sides inside the frame as there is allot of gaps.

If they painted the inside black as well added more bristles or black padding it would been allot better keeping light out. As well a thicker blind, or a better frame to hold the blinds in.. i'd sleep allot better.

The blind itself wasn't cut at right length either, so if i over extend the blind it mess's it all up.. i feel its like 300mm extra or more than it should be.

Some light also leaks at the top, it has a very thin strip of padding to supposedly block the light.. it could have been bigger and thicker.. i could easily find a way to block it myself easily buying better ones.. but i shouldn't need to DIY myself if i paid £300 for premium blinds.

I also had no choice but to pick the blinds with chains, with outer surface frame since they said i couldn't use an inner with touch.. i feel like i could have and they just making me spend more money tbh, it was only 3mm over the limit. Anyway.. the chain is slow.. my previous blind was able to move 3 times faster when pulling them up or down, not a big deal ofc but its one those small annoying nitpicking life things, rather pulling 4 times on the chain its 12 times to fully open them... they feel sluggish.

All in all... i just feel these are not worth £300 and am getting stressed and frustrated with the blinds not staying inside the frame and leaking light so much, that am going take them down and hope i can get these refunded.. otherwise that's £300 in the bin and look somewhere else.

The blind is great now that we have managed to get it up, it is not as easy to install as led to believe. Getting the side rails to hold the blind and smoothly close without ruffling the blind was very difficult. However now that we have it up it does exactly what we want.

Easy to fit and the only really effective solution to the early morning light problems I had been having for years

Excellent blackout blind that completely blocks out daylight. Easy to install, good quality, and great value for money. Delighted to support a local Northern Ireland company. Highly recommended.

Delivery took 4 weeks which is acceptable for a bespoke product. Only thing I would say is the blind itself is quite flimsy. Just the slightest bit of wind can blow the material from it's guide. Overall though the light blocking is perfect and the structure fits my son's window perfectly! Super easy to fit with simple to follow instructions!

Ordered two of the new design BlocOut blinds for our home cinema. Arrived on time, Fitted in 20 to 30-minutes, and do the job. 99% blacked out home cinema.

The blinds really work. Need to be very exact on measurements but lovely when installed and really blocked the light.

overall pleased with the two blinds i ordered, went for the blocout plus as was for daughters bedroom and having a chain would be easier for her to operate.

very easy to install and smart looking - does block out most of the light, maybe 99%.

did have an issue with a missing plastic seal to one of the blinds, which did lead to light coming in above the cassette due to the uneven plastering. response to sort the missing seal was a little slow - over a week and not within two working days they advise. seal arrived very quickly, had to remove the bling to fit, but easily managed.

i did take 2mm of all my measurements, i am glad i did as my recess plastering was not square or level - the blinds fitted perfectly and no light comes in through the sides.

i will consider purchasing these blinds again

I finally put a bloc out in my bedroom after thinking about it for months, I wish I had of done it sooner. The room is so dark and the quality of sleep I'm getting it is amazing.

Reasonably easy to install and great price. I did find the material frayed one side and so it doesn’t quite stay within the runner but I haven’t fed back. I will be leaving it closed mostly anyway. If I try and angle the bottom to unlock it and raise it, the material comes out of the side. Pretty sure they would have just sent me another but once it was up a couldn’t be bothered to redo it all.

The blocout blind is very effective. It took a little longer to arrive than stated but the installation is fairly easy. It looks really good too. I would definitely recommend this product.

Can’t leave the window open behind the blind as the slightest breeze pushes it out of its track. Some clips attached to the edge which fit into a slot within the extrusion would make it a more durable product. It will do for this year but not a permanent solution.

Such a great thing to have especially if you have a kid. We tried everything to darken the room but it gets the sun all day long. These have been a life saver and we've decided to get them in other rooms too.
