Avoid Homecrew: €950 Paid, Services Not Delivered as Expected
We had a very disappointing experience with Homecrew.
We paid €950 for a service package that, according to the payment page, included a pricing strategy, professional photography, a floor plan, a NEN2580 measurement report, viewings, and negotiations. In our experience, several of these services were either not delivered or not delivered to the standard we expected.
One of our main concerns was the pricing advice. We relied on Homecrew's recommendation, but the listing generated no viewing requests. When we later requested supporting market analysis and comparable sales data, we did not receive the level of substantiation we were expecting.
We also encountered difficulties regarding communication, accessibility, and clarification of the applicable terms and conditions. The terms and conditions that were later referenced were not, in our view, clearly brought to our attention during the onboarding and payment process.
As a result, we decided to terminate the cooperation and have escalated the matter for further review through our legal insurance provider and payment provider.
Based on our experience, I would recommend that anyone considering Homecrew carefully review the services included, request supporting documentation for the pricing strategy, and ensure that all applicable terms and conditions are clearly provided before making payment.
