Terrible customer service
Unfortunately, even though the hotel is nice, the service level was very disappointing and it turned out to be quite a frustrating experience for us. Starting with the self check-in - as I booked three rooms, they somehow messed it up in their system and provided check-in details only for one room. It costed me 40 min on the phone on the day of arrival, as apparently no one attends to emails or Booking.com messages after 5pm or in the weekend, to finally get the check-in details for all three rooms. Then on the third night of our stay the heating in the whole building went off. As there is no one on site, this meant once again doing the whole phone business plus several follow ups until someone finally showed up. An hour after they fixed it. the AC and the warm water were gone again. By that time it was already 11pm and we were really not in a mood to spend another hour on the phone, so went to bed in a cold room after a cold shower. Unpleasant is an understatement! With subzero outdoor temperatures, it was a freezing night. The next morning I was on the phone once again. Eventually they finally fixed the problem, but no one ever called us proactively to provide an update, check how we were doing or apologize. On the final day of our stay, they just called to ask not to submit a negative review, because we would be compensated for all the issues we had. Surely enough, we never heard from them again, nore were we compensated in any way. Really, really terrible customer service! Do yourselves a favor and book somewhere else.
