Skyway 2027: A Contemporary Collaboration
Five leading art institutions across Tampa Bay are proud to announce the open call for Skyway 2027: A Contemporary Collaboration, a region-wide exhibition that will spotlight the work of local contemporary artists across five museums during the spring, summer, and fall of 2027.
The five art institutions will co-publish a fully illustrated catalogue, featuring the work of each exhibiting artist, to accompany the exhibition.
This collaborative exhibition brings together:
- Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg
- The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art
- Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College of Art and Design
- Tampa Museum of Art
- USF Contemporary Art Museum
Artists living in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, and Sarasota counties are invited to apply now through July 1, 2026. Find full details, application guidelines, and apply online at: www.skywaytampabay.com.

Public Tour with 2026 Contemporary Art Museum Summer Interns
Join 2026 Summer Interns Jolie Brown, Anh Myers, and Brandin Vance from the School of Art and Art History for a public tour of USF Contemporary Art Museum�s summer programming. The interns will guide visitors through conversations about Breaking Barriers: Gathering Light and Uncelebrity: The Andy Warhol Foundation Photographic Legacy Project Reconsidered. Visitors are also invited to participate in 15 Minutes Later�, USFCAM�s participatory photography activity.
Please note: Uncelebrity includes photographic depictions of explicit nudity and adult themes.

Closed Saturday, Sunday, and all university holidays.
Museum Hours:
Monday�Friday: 10am�5pm
Thursday: 10am�8pm
Saturday: 1�4pm
Closed Sunday, all university holidays, and between exhibitions.
Admission: Exhibitions and events are free and open to all, unless noted.
Group Tours + Field Trips :
Guided tours are available upon request by emailing amyallison@usf.edu at least two weeks in advance. Self-guided groups are also welcome during regular hours. For groups larger than 10, please email or call (813) 974-4133 to reserve gallery time.
Accessibility:
The University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum (USFCAM) is fully accessible to visitors with disabilities. There are disabled parking spaces outsde of the museum, an accessible entrance, good lighting and accessible restrooms.
The museum follows the USF guidelines regarding service animals.
