This collection is inspired by and builds on the structure/code of Carl Lange who produced Bouldering Areas in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Compiled a lot of bouldering locations and posted them as POIs on UKBouldering.com. In particular the UK venues and the Climbing Walls (UK).

Compiled various POIs for climbing locations in Europe which are included.

Compiled POIs for North Yorkshire Moors.

Various formats needed converting…

• POIs were converted to GPX and these in turn converted to GeoJSON using toGeoJSON.
• A useful site for converting GeoJSON to CSV to facilitate editing is here (it will also convert them from CSV to GeoJSON here).
• Ordnance Survey grid references in the UK can be converted to latitude and longitude using nearby.org.uk.

• South France
• ClimbingAway - World Map
• Bouldering in South-West Norway
• Rock Climbing in Iceland

• Bulk out all fields for all locations.
• Colour code markers based on rock type.
• Include indoor climbing walls.
