Copypasta is basically a meme in the form of an excerpt of text, usually about a paragraph. It is usually copy-pasted identically (hence the name) or with slight permutations so as to be immediately recognizable to readers. It is not a fandom-specific term, but copypasta may emerge from or catch on in specific fandoms.
