Assignment of Judges to Chambers

(C/2024/7076)

At its General Meeting on 9 October 2024, the Court decided to assign Judges to the Chambers of five Judges as follows:

 

First Chamber:

 

Mr Biltgen, President of the Chamber

 

Mr von Danwitz, Mr Kumin, Ms Ziemele and Mr Gervasoni, Judges

 

Second Chamber:

 

Ms Jürimäe, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Lenaerts, Mr Gavalec, Mr Csehi and Mr Schalin, Judges

 

Third Chamber:

 

Mr Lycourgos, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Rodin, Mr Piçarra, Ms Spineanu-Matei and Mr Fenger, Judges

 

Fourth Chamber:

 

Mr Jarukaitis, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Arabadjiev, Mr Jääskinen, Mr Condinanzi and Ms Frendo, Judges

 

Fifth Chamber:

 

Ms Arastey Sahún, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Regan, Mr Passer, Mr Gratsias and Mr Smulders, Judges

At its General Meeting on 9 October 2024, the Court decided to assign Judges to the Chambers of three Judges as follows:

 

Sixth Chamber:

 

Mr Kumin, President of the Chamber

 

Ms Ziemele and Mr Gervasoni, Judges

 

Seventh Chamber:

 

Mr Gavalec, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Csehi and Mr Schalin, Judges

 

Eighth Chamber:

 

Mr Rodin, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Piçarra, Ms Spineanu-Matei and Mr Fenger, Judges

 

Ninth Chamber:

 

Mr Jääskinen, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Arabadjiev, Mr Condinanzi and Ms Frendo, Judges

 

Tenth Chamber:

 

Mr Gratsias, President of the Chamber

 

Mr Regan, Mr Passer and Mr Smulders, Judges

At its General Meeting on 9 October 2024, the Court also decided to assign the Vice-President of the Court to the Sixth Chamber for the purposes of cases in which he is to act as Judge-Rapporteur and which will be assigned by the Court to a Chamber of three Judges.

In addition, the Court has decided to assign the Presidents of the Chambers of five Judges to a Chamber of three Judges for all cases in which they are to act as Judge-Rapporteur and which will be assigned by the Court to such a composition of the Court. Accordingly, the Court has decided to assign Mr Biltgen to the Sixth Chamber, Ms Jürimäe to the Seventh Chamber, Mr Lycourgos to the Eighth Chamber, Mr Jarukaitis to the Ninth Chamber and Ms Arastey Sahún to the Tenth Chamber.
