Very disappointing experience. I ordered a chair from Ergonomist which had a clear fault with the left armrest, making a noticeable creaking noise compared with the right side.

I contacted them shortly after delivery, provided video evidence, and clearly requested a return and refund. Instead of processing the return, they sent a replacement armrest without confirming this with me first. I fitted it, but the same issue remained.

The return process then became unnecessarily difficult. I had to provide more evidence, repeat that I wanted to return the chair, and was told to check the assembly again despite following the instructions correctly.

They did eventually accept the return, cover the return cost, and refund me, but only after several emails and a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth.

Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about ordering from Ergonomist if there is any chance you may need to return something.

I had my stool for over a year now and it’s been really good. Takes a little getting used to at first but I don’t think I could ever go back to a chair.

A few days ago I noticed one of the shin rests had come loose and I was unable to put it back on. I sent a video to them and they sent me a replacement straight away.

It goes such a long way when you purchase an item and the company really want to help and support you.

I have suffered from a painful right arm at night for months. It started off s as pins and needles and then developed into intense pain that kept me awake. I bought an Ergonomist cervical pillow and I can honestly say the pain is gone. Sometimes just a faint tingling. The pillow is really comfortable ( felt a bit weird for the first couple of nights). I am going away this weekend and my pillow comes with me! It’s not even expensive

Best pillow for neck and shoulder pain. I’d been suffering with pain for weeks and after a couple of nights sleep on this pillow I woke up with no pain.

Their “ergonomic” chair is absolutely rubbish. Should honestly be criminal to sell this and claim it’s ergonomic. If you are over 6 foot the chair doesn’t go up high enough for an ergonomic position. Your hips are lower than your knees. What kind of “ergonomic” setup is that??? Absolute snake oil sales. Zero idea about correct seating position. Even the arm rests don’t go back far enough which means you can’t get close enough to the desk. There is absolutely 0 ergonomics about anything to do with this chair. If you buy it, you are an absolute muppet, no debate about it.

I ordered a desk over a week ago and their site states “Next day delivery is our promise”. I have been waiting for nearly 10 days for my desk to arrive.

When i try to track the order d
through “SHOP” it says “awaiting details” so there is nothing i can see. When i load the webpage it says “Please contact us if you have any issues or questions”.

I TYPE OUT MY ISSUE AND IT SAYS CHAT IS UNAVAILABLE. I PUT IN MY ORDER NUMBER TO TRY TRACK AND IT SAYS THE SAME.

I’ve sent multiple emails and had little to no help regarding when it will arrive.

Do not. Recommend.

Avoid! (Unless you have hours to spend chasing for delivery updates!) The website proudly advertises as ‘next working day delivery’ but is far from the case. They only communicate via an online chat platform and nobody can tell you whether it will or will not be delivered or when that will be. Very disappointing. If you want a hassle free purchase of a standing desk, I would look elsewhere.

Still awaiting delivery so cannot comment on the quality. The next day shipping is entirely fictitious and their customer service is seemingly non existent. May update if I hear anything from them or indeed receive the items, otherwise I’ll be going through PayPal for a refund

The product was just what I required . Arrived promptly and when we had space organised for it easy to assemble . Love the design and ability to set necessary height when standing or sitting . Plenty of room to work on top of desk aswell as monitors being there

Had a small issue with the office chair I’d ordered, Leonardo was excellent and arranged for a new part to be delivered promptly. Would not hesitate to order from them again given how easy it was to deal with their customer service team.

I just want to say a big thank you to Ergonomist for the ease of ordering online, the amazing quick delivery and for the quality of my chair and my sit, stand desk that I bought in the sale.
I was absolutely blown away by their service.
Both my chair and desk were packed well and included easy to follow instructions for assembly which I did alone. The quality of the products were just what I was hoping for!

I had looked for hours... for suitable products before coming across Ergonomist. I had never heard of this company before.
Prior to ordering I was a little apprehensive as the pricing of my items were far less than the competitors.
I needn't have worried.
I am one very happy customer who really hopes this company succeed as a business in these times.
I have not been paid to write this and from my experience I would recommend this company to family, friends and anyone who is looking for a quality service and quality products.

At the beginning very kind and offered a refund or 20% back and keep the pillow, when I said the pillow unfortunately did not suit me and my neck as it gave me migraines so I would like to return it for full compensation . I was told I had to pay for the return and it had to come in the exact form sent and once they saw it was okay they would give me a refund however it might not be the full amount due to not being in the correct packaging so overall not very happy.

Excellent quality desk, very sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble and electronic height adjustment is quick and seamless. Following a few delivery issues with the courier, Alex from Ergonomist's Customer Service was excellent, ensuring the issue was fully resolved and the item was delivered as quickly as possible. Very pleased.

I pre-ordered a desk to arrive today. I checked at 2pm and the delivery company hadn't received my order. I spent 3 hours on the webchat with no compensation and only an offer of a free bit of tat with my order. I tried to cancel the order but was told it wasn't possible. I was waiting for 2 hours for 'upper management' to possibly make a good will payment to me. I was blanked until after closing time with no update even though I was promised I'd get one.

From start to finish dealing with your customer service was a horrible experience which has made moving into a new house more stressful taking 3 hours out of my day with incredibly long response windows and information that is later backtracked on. I would avoid this company. They've annoyed me so much I've written my first review in years to warn others.

I'll happily update if the outcome changes, but so far it's been really poor.

Worst company ever dealt with.

Honestly, shocking experience. I’ve got multiple items from them. Faulty motor. They asked me to send evidence. Done that. Seem to have excuse after excuse. 4 days taken off work on 4 different occasions to pick up faulty desk since they wanted the whole thing back. Lied about courier pick up with no evidence after asking for it costing me money and time.

Avoid this company at all cost.

I purchased a height-adjustable desk from Ergonomist which unfortunately turned out to be faulty after assembly.

To their credit, the company did offer a refund or replacement, and the communication throughout was polite and professional.

However, the process when things go wrong is where my experience fell short. The desk had to be fully dismantled and repackaged for return, which was not a straightforward task given its size and complexity. I had to arrange help to assemble and then dismantle the desk, which resulted in additional costs.

In the end, I chose a refund rather than risk going through the same process again with a replacement. While the refund has been processed, I have been left out of pocket and with no desk.

I made a modest request for a small contribution towards these costs, but this was declined. A £15 discount on a future purchase was offered instead, which is of no value to me as I would not choose to purchase again.

In summary, while Ergonomist meets its basic obligations, the overall experience highlights the practical difficulties and potential costs involved if a large item turns out to be faulty. This is something prospective customers should carefully consider before purchasing.
