Requested move
[edit]I am proposing this article should revert to its original title - this article has been renamed without any discussion and, IMHO its original title refers to a more historically significant and notable business. Letdorf (talk) 23:13, 1 December 2008 (UTC).
- Support and split the current IXsystems part off into a separate article, since it was a merger, not a company rename. 76.66.194.58 (talk) 05:46, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion
[edit]iXSystems may be of questionable notability, but BSDi certainly isn't (see, for instance, USL vs BSDi). Also, the link between BSDi and iXSystems is pretty tenuous - BSDi effectively died while after it was acquired by Wind River. As I have stated above, I propose reverting the name, adding more refs for BSDi if necessary to prove notability. Letdorf (talk) 13:40, 2 December 2008 (UTC).
- I wouldn't be opposed to just rolling back to the previous title and content right now. The changes are disputed and no sources were provided. Go right ahead. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 13:44, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Independent page
[edit]I have added an independent iXsystems page and removed the redirects. I have done my best to be objective and welcome feedback.Maiklsdeksters (talk) 21:18, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
