Everything about your ordering process , and the product itself is great.
I was not pleased with the installation instructions and how they were presented to the end user. I would prefer an instruction manual with good detail and step-by-step instructions. Watching movies without sound was frustrating. Eventually, my wife figured out we had to go online and use our order number to get specific instructions, for installation and use. The on line manual was very helpful but I do not believe Gray wind does a good job making it clear how to find these instructions from the get go.

Gave me complimentary remote control for my electric curtains and tie backs that match my curtains. The fabric is wonderful and the samples were large and beautifully packaged. The website was easy to figure out. Excellent job of explaining how to measure and videos in how to install were helpful. They have a special way of using a non permanent tape to help you put up the anchors in the right spots. Highly recommend to anyone. Prices super reasonable for a top notch product. Buy from their website, as opposed to Amazon.

Super helpful, great customer service!
I had problems with the remote not working, they sent me a hub right away. Then I couldn't figure out the hub because not tech savvy, but Zoe did a zoom call with me and got them working great!!! They are very nice shades. I have the shangri-la and I love them.

Awesome blinds and customer service!
I recently had my dining room window converted into a sliding patio door and needed blinds. With such a large, open view, I didn’t want that view obstructed when the blinds were open. After many email conversations with Shelly in customer service, she helped me figure out the perfect setup. (And by the way, Shelly is absolutely amazing. Her patience, knowledge, and thoroughness were a huge part of why I chose Graywind.)
To keep my view as unobstructed as possible, I chose 8 panels instead of the more typical 4. This made each panel much narrower, and because the panels stack directly on top of each other when opened rather than staggering, they only cover about 4–5 inches on one side of the patio door. The result is an almost completely unobstructed view, which is exactly what I wanted.
One thing that really impressed me was Graywind’s customization options. Other companies I looked at seemed to offer fixed panel widths, with only the length being adjustable. With Graywind, you provide the total width you want covered and they customize the system accordingly. In my case, the total span was 153 inches, including about 2.25 inches of overlap on each side. If I had chosen 4 panels, each panel would have been around 26 inches wide and would have covered too much of the glass when stacked open. By choosing 8 panels, each panel ended up around 13 inches wide, dramatically reducing the amount of window covered when opened.
Installation will likely require two people. In my case, I had to install a small piece of trim/wood on the wall first because the door trim projected too far outward for the brackets to work properly. This was specific to my patio door installation and won’t apply to most people. Once the brackets are installed and level, the track snaps into place. I will say that snapping the track onto the brackets was probably the most difficult part of the installation—you just need to be able to see above the track to understand how it engages. Installing the fabric and valance pieces is a bit tedious, but not difficult if you’re patient.
The blinds have been perfect. The size, appearance, color, operation, and overall quality exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and will absolutely be ordering more for other rooms. I’ll also be recommending Graywind to anyone I know who needs blinds or curtains.
And one more shoutout to Shelly—thank you for answering ALL of my very detailed questions. Graywind, please give Shelly a raise and a promotion. She absolutely deserves it!
