Quality putting mat
I have been using the Chiputt mat for a little while. The quality of the mat is fantastic. The speed of the mat was a little slow at first, but once I got used to it it is fine. ( I believe the speed is around 10 on the stimp which is what the US Open greens at Shinnecock are running.) The ball rolls true. CS has been very helpful. I would definitely purchase again.

The Chiputt Mat rolls at around a 10 on the Stimpmeter, which is right in the range many golfers will encounter on greens they actually play on. It's definitely slower than many putting mats that run at lightning-fast 11+ stimp, so a short adjustment period is completely normal. Once dialed in, you'll find the speed and roll are designed to deliver a more realistic on-course putting experience!

Not a cheap alternative to the "premium" mat.
I've had an excellent experience with Chiputt. The CEO helped me out a ton, communicated clearly, and made the entire process easy and enjoyable.
Before ordering, I was worried I might be compromising on quality, but what I received was exactly what I was looking for. The practice quality is outstanding, and the overall aesthetic is clean enough to fit in an office or home setting without looking tacky.
The green is heavy, thick, and sturdy, just like the more expensive “premium” options I was comparing it to. There is no cheap feeling to any part of it. The roll is true and consistent, and based on my experience, it feels like it plays around a 10 on the stimpmeter.
It’s also clear that Chiputt has made meaningful improvements from previous versions. The distance markers, wooden backstop, seamless connection between the chipping strip and the main green, cups, and heavy speed ramp all add to the overall quality. Nothing feels like an afterthought, and nothing looks or feels cheap.
I spent a lot of time deciding between Chiputt and a couple of other similar options. In the end, I saved money by not paying for the more expensive “premium” brand, and after seeing that option in person, I can confidently say there is no trade-off in quality.
I’m leaving this review because the communication was excellent, but more importantly, because I know how hard this decision can be. I was in the “buy once, cry once” mindset, but Chiputt gave me the quality I wanted without having to overpay. I’m very happy with the purchase and would absolutely recommend it.
I am currently going through a remodel and wavered on the size of the surface options. Jason changed my order after it had already been processed and even went through the details of all of the improved specs of the new mats. Great customer service and feedback. I'm sold.

The Mat is freaking awesome
The Mat is freaking awesome! Love this thing! Feels really good and rolls very well. Laid flat as I unwrapped it and considering it's my first Chiputt Mat I like the white boundary sticks that you can attach to the mat, those are very cool. Also a hug fan of being able to swap out the different style holes. Very quality product! Thank you again!

Chiputt, it really is a great putting mat
When I read the reviews I thought it can't be that good at that price point. Boy was I wrong, it is that good! When I first opened it I put it out on the warm driveway for 10 min. and it flattened out right away. I brought it down to my finished basement where I will keep it set up and started using it. It has a great feel and texture, a real quality putting mat. The ball rolls true. I have a putting laser and the roll is spot on if I roll it at the right speed. I'm glad I went with the 3'x11' size and I like the chipping mat as well as all the extras it came with. Overall I'm totally satisfied with the whole buying experience from Chiputt.

The process of ordering and then timely…
The process of ordering and then timely shipment and even more importantly the communication that was provided, included some upgrades (guard rails) being included was great!
I had a smaller putting mat in my living room, and measured this one to fit perfectly 3 x 11 and also the chipping mat.
I also made one adjustment and have already heard back on some new cup development they are working on, which will be great to see, as you can see I had the original metal cups, which I spray painted with White Metal paint to further highlight the holes.
The mat was unraveled and I reverse rolled the ends slightly for 5-10 mins and let sit overnight and all is really good.
Added bonus - my wife embraced the new mat and my cats enjoy sitting on it, when I’m not practicing. Haha

Love that the 3x11 fit your living room perfectly! Appreciate you sharing your setup process too. Due to logistics, sometimes a little break-in is needed. A quick reverse roll and letting it settle overnight is the right move and you will be rolling putts pure in no time!

I’ve had the mat for about six weeks now. I use it every day for at least a few minutes sometimes for longer sessions. I’m seeing really strong improvement in the 5 to 8 foot range.
I really like it because it looks nice and the pile is thick enough for you to use tease or putting gates to check your start line.
I even took it with me on a road trip so I could putt in the hotel room!!

After allowing the Chiputt Mat to settle, I have noticed that the putts have been rolling quite well. While I have yet to test the Stimpmeter, I can confidently state that the performance resembles that of local golf courses, which is impressive.

Great putting mat!
Love the mat and set up. You have multiple ways to use it. Can chip, putt one way or back and forth. Borders keep balls on mat for those errant putts. Putts roll true, looks great, and is a welcome addition to living room. Service is excellent and they want you satisfied. Looked at multiple mats and for price this was top choice and I’m not disappointed!

It shipped out super fast and communication was on point. Shipping got delayed (no fault of chipputt) they noticed and went above and beyond!
The matt is super plush, the ball rolls true and the accessories are really nicely finished. Hitting short chip shots the turf really grabs the spin off the wedge. Its basically perfect!
