TC should get rid of commentators who talk way too much & so loud such as Armitraj, Eubanks, Sam Query & especially Coco V. Can't watch in peace & quiet & even hear the ball hitting. Then they should not favor American players!!! Even when they are knocked out a long time they keep praising them instead of focusing on players still alive in the tournament. Can't stand them anymore so I switch to TSN channels or others available. Besides reception is not even good as very often the screen freezes in the middle of a point!
Good commentators are Tracy Austin & Jim Courier who are past GS winners. Paul Annacon is also good & knowledgeable having been a past effective coach.
I'm sending this on behalf of at least 10 tennis fans!

Big fan of the TC app

Not sure why the hating goes on for the TC app. I was HIGHLY resistant to trying it mostly because TC commentators continuously hit us over the head to "buy the app". I run this app on Firestick on four different TV's and occasionally from my android phone. I have had zero issues so far. I do have an issue with running it on my kindle fire. The auth is saying reCaptcha is not happy. I had to side load the Google Play Store in order to download the TC app so I am a bit out of bounds there anyway. I will eventually figure that all out I bet. The app is solid, better than most. I follow a short list of players, mostly WTA, and it is so easy to get their matches through the schedule function. I never watch live, hate commercials, but watching replay works fantastic. I was so highly skeptical that maybe my bar was too low. So from my experience, running TC app from firestick and android phones gets an A+++ from me. I love the functionality.
BTW I cancelled my YT tv sports + package (which included TC) it more than paid for my TC app subscription.

Horrible

Horrible. Bad connectivity. Zero communication. Double billing. What's to like? It's like a bad joke or a scam. I can't even get anyone to tell me how to cancel the d*** thing. If you're thinking about signing up, don't bother.

The audio on this channel is insane

The audio on this channel is insane, i know they try to give you the "stadium experience" but their is no reason this broadcast should be heard from the street and second floor when the tv is on a low volume. My elderly pop is sadly obssesed with this channel or i would drop the service. We dont need to hear every shoe screech and grunt it doesnt enhance the experience its an assault my eardrums turn that garbage off!

On camera talent

For the most part TC makes good decisions in selecting former players for on camera talent. Unfortunately they occasionally make a mistake, as they’ve done with Danielle Collins. She brings no warmth to the role, and while she does make some good observations, her superior attitude is always evident.
There are equally talented and more sympathetic players out there.

Scoreboard is the worst

Scoreboard is the worst, trying to watch a match and you're interrupted by this annoying Scoreboard that repeats useless information about temperature and humidity all while you're trying to focus on the match. Worst decision ever, really kills the momentum of the match for the viewer, ESPN doesn't do this!

Sometimes silence is golden

Martina never stops talking even between first and second serve. Repeat yourself. The worst thing an announcer can do is repeat, repeat, and repeat. Neutralize neutralize.

Tennis Channel & Tennis.com App: A Biased, Clueless, Technically Broken Disaster

Tennis Channel and the Tennis.com app have become a perfect storm of bias, incompetence, and technical failure. The entire operation feels like it’s being run by people who don’t understand the sport, don’t listen to viewers, and don’t care about delivering a functional product.

The programming is blatantly skewed. The channel shows an endless rotation of matches that almost no one is asking for, while ignoring the ones people actually want to watch. There’s a constant bias toward American players, even when the match quality is terrible or irrelevant. And the obsession with airing majority women’s matches — regardless of ranking, stakes, or viewer interest — makes the schedule feel more like a quota system than a sports network.

The commentary is somehow even worse. It’s a mix of shallow observations, incorrect facts, and long stretches of filler that add nothing to the match. Half the time it sounds like the commentators are watching a different event entirely. Insight is nonexistent, analysis is laughable, and the tone swings between condescending and clueless.

Then there’s the app — a complete, irredeemable mess. It crashes constantly, freezes during live play, and fails to load even basic content. Streams buffer endlessly, audio cuts out, and the interface looks like it hasn’t been updated since the early 2010s. Navigation is clunky, search barely works, and the whole thing feels like a prototype that somehow got released to the public.

Between the biased programming, the tone‑deaf commentary, the baffling match selections, and the technically broken app, Tennis Channel and Tennis.com have become a chore to use. For a paid service, it’s embarrassing. For a major sports network, it’s unacceptable.

If you want reliable coverage, competent commentary, or a streaming app that functions like it was built this decade, look anywhere else. Tennis Channel and Tennis.com have completely lost the plot.

Djokovic Draper Match ongoing (11 Mar…

Djokovic Draper Match ongoing (11 Mar 2026): Ridiculous that we have to see a split screen during the first two games and listen to an interview. Almost as bad as Jim Courier talking through the points. Had to press the mute button. I saw a similar comment about the interview and happy to see others felt the same.

We pay money to watch matches not interviews

We pay money to watch matches not to watch interviews while the match is running. It is a very idiotic way of handeling the show. I am so happy that I have other apps that allow me to watch any match that I like, but I feel sorry for those who paid to watch talk shows that can be watched before or after the matches instead of watching the match

Jim Courier Oh my

Jim Courier Oh my! I find him smarmy--meaning arrogant and condescending. Just a few moments ago, he called Lindsay Davenport crabby because she brought up at issue he apparently wanted to avoid. It's sexist. Don't like what a woman says, demean her!

I do not like the new female commentator

I do not like the new female commutator. She talks way too much which is distracting when a match is going. She talks as if there shouldn’t be any silence while there’s a point going. Please, please talk to her or Remove her as a commentator.

Thank you

My Tennis Channel Opinion

1) During matches the TC frequently uses 1/3 of the viewing area to interject scores from previous matches or upcoming matches and events. This can run for up to 5 min. Ridiculous! First why so long? Second, why not run the scores at the bottom of the screen in a small line as are done in every other sport?
2) Right now I'm trying to watching the 2025 Rolex Paris Masters and wherever they have the camera located at this event, the tennis court looks like a square (not elongated like a real tennis court). The backcourt looks squished. At first I thought it was pickle ball court. What gives? This is so difficult to watch!
