The practice of vegetable tanning stands disappearing in Italy; the exception is here in Florence from MISURI where there is no shortage of beautiful vegetables bags and accessories in tanned leather. Furthermore MISURI artisans still use the gold pressing technique leaf under heated bronze tools was introduced in Italy in 1400 and personalize purchases by hand with the customer's initials. Superb in every way…

I first found this store on an excursion in Florence. I bought an amazing leather backpack it’s been 3 years and I still get compliments on it all the time. We are taking another cruise and I was looking for a cross-body bag. It’s absolutely perfect. The colors the hardware, the quality, and personalization is just exceptional.

Good quality leather

This is the second time I've ordered from Misuri, and both wallets I ordered for gifts were very good workmanship. The wallets arrived on time as expected and were well received!

Be prepared for additional charges

I ordered from the USA. Soon after I was charged an additional $27 from FedEx. This is on top of $20 I already paid for shipping. Writing this review to warn people of what's coming. Especially if you're trying to budget.

A bag that stays with you for decades???

I just watched a video on the Misuri page of a customer named Linda who purchased a handbag 25 years ago and returned to have repairs on the bag. Misuri describs these as bags that will hold up for decades.I wish I'd had the same experience as this lady but my experience was the exact opposite so imagine my surprise when I saw this video today. I purchased a Kelly handbag with gold corners from them almost 20 years ago and it's still pristine on the outside but the inside lining is literally crumbling. I emailed Misuri Firenze this past August and sent pictures but they said the environment can have an effect on the materials of the bag, especially the lining, and there was nothing they could do. It was a very disappointing answer especially considering I've taken such great care of this bag. I then took the bag to a local cobbler to see if he could help. Sadly, the cobbler did not have the tools to work on this bag and said it was a beautifully made bag however he was very surprised vinyl was used on the inside of such an expensive handbag instead of leather. Apparently leather would not have disintegrated like this. Unfortunately I still have a bag that is unusable because anything I put into the bag comes out covered with red flakes of sticky vinyl. I realize 20 years is a long time to be responsible for a handbag so I had no plans to leave a negative review about the bag but seeing a video today showing the exact opposite of the customer service I received just 5 months ago prompted me to share my experience. Buyer beware.

The Quality of the Bag is Excelent

The Quality of the Bag is Excelent, But I feel like the Discounts were Misleading, 1st it said 10% off with First purchas, this is a Discount only for First time Buyers, then for Black Friday you got like 20% to 25%, I Dont Remember, when go to pay I used the Code for Black Friday, then they send me to another site to pay and that code was not transfered so I end up paying full price. I contacted Misuri and told them what happened and his reply was you cant use 2 discounts at the same time, well I think if you cannot then dont offer 2 completley different discounts that is a marketing Mistake or Stragity? Then he said I needed to have put the code for Black Friday, I said I Did, he did not reply, then he said they would try to give me something, I will try this weekend and see if i get something. I spent over $1000.00 so even 10% is $100. and thats a nice Dinner. But never an Apology, Just assumed I made the Mistake. Poor Customer Service I will Try again this weekend and see if I get Anything.
