Brilliant job done by Jay @ Just Technics… my 30+ year old pair of 1210 Mk2 turntables were both serviced and deep cleaned, then collected within a few weeks as good as they looked and sounded when I first bought them in the early 1990s. Definite value for money, great advice given and a friendly/professional attitude. There’s a bit of a waiting list due to the specialised service, but well worth the wait. Highly recommended if you’re looking to get your Technics decks given a new lease of life.

I had my pair of Technics SL1210 mk2 turntables professionally serviced and thoroughly cleaned. They returned looking pristine, just like when they were brand new. Jason's craftsmanship is remarkable, and his dedication to his customers really shines through in his work. It was truly a delight to have him take care of my equipment.

After my service slot they came back looking, feeling and sounding better than I've ever known them, since acquiring them 2nd hand (with a good few issues) 25 years ago.
They felt more solid and sounded and performed so much better. Like new in fact!
Lovely new gold RCA cables, pitch controls both sliding like butter, all the internals sorted out and the metalwork gleaming.
Jay's an honest guy, tells you how it is from the start and doesn't do anything unnecessary, which meant I was very pleased with the final bill.
I thought the amount was very reasonable for the workmanship and time put in by Jay.
Having them back looking and sounding as they do now, I can appreciate the effort and skill that has gone into them.
So thank you very much Jay and I can't recommend him enough.

What an amazing experience with Jay from Just Technics! When I dropped the decks off with him, you could tell he was passionate about his work, it was fascinating to hear about his experiences and knowledge on Technics. I had some issues with my tone arms and he went above and beyond to try and fix the issues rather than just selling new arms. When I picked them up, they looked brand new. He's done an amazing job on them. I highly recommend Jay!

Amazing service from start to finish. Jay went above and beyond to repair and service my Technic 1210’s.

I initially dropped my Technics off in person and Jay gave me a lot of sound advice whilst I was there. Recommend a lot of things to me which I really appreciate.

Unfortunately I couldnt pick my decks up so i paod extra for him to package and deliver back. Packaging was epic!!! And the finished product was superb.

Have been and will be recommending Jay to all my old skool DJs from back in the day!

What a great service Jay offers . I took an ageing 90s deck with missing lights and unbalanced output.

Out comes a shiny new (old) polished deck sounding just like it did when first bought.

You can tell from his enthusiasm how much he enjoys his work.

I have a lot to say so buckle up!
I've been watching Jay's videos for a number of years & always said I would send mine in if anything ever needed anything doing to them. I got a full service & an upgrade of the tonearm wires as they do break over years of use. Not only did he replace the tonearm & grounding wires, but also the RCA cables & plugs. He also replaced the 33 / 45 buttons & gave them a deep clean. The pitch faders were also replaced & the platters polished. He also disassembled & rebuilt the tonearms as I had a bit of play in one of them. Seriously, it's like opening a brand new set of boxfresh Technics. It took me back & took my breath away for an experience I thought I would have again! My birthday is in a couple of days & I couldn't have wished for a better gift! No wonder he's always fully booked. Don't use anyone else if you are serious about your decks. You will not get a better service from start to finish & the most genuine guy you'll ever talk to. We had a good old chin-wag on the phone talking about shared interests. He just oozes the passion he has for music & Technics turntables. Don't procrastinate get them to Jay, he will look after you & go the extra mile.

Wow....what more can I say......I brought my decks 2nd hand.....then gave them straight to jay...the 1210s looked well rough....but jay cleaned them up and wrapped them in black camo..done some led lights ...incredible work.....went above and beyond with his work.....treats each deck as his own....and their is a waiting list for a reason, I wouldn't take mine anywhere else!!!

Jay (Jason) is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and his service is incomparable.

I delivered my turntables in person for a full service amongst other details having been recommended by fella DJ friends who also have used his service and I was left in awe of the work completed.

Multiple faults and problems
One of the decks was playing at 9000rpm !!

They had a sympathetic restore / refresh and were like new and still sounding crystal clear a few years on .....

If i could give more than 5 stars i would. Just technics is hands down the number 1. Friendly, so knowledgeable, no surprise costs, 100 % honest and goes the extra mile to satisfy customers. Theres quite a waiting list but for a good reason and well worth the wait. I wouldnt go anywhere else wit mine now. 10/10

I booked in for a service of 2 sl1200 mkII's Jay's Expertise was 2nd to none, he fully explained what work needed to be completed and gave me options available and his recommendations. My babies are now working like new and well happy with the service provided, Jay is very popular you may have to wait but get your turntables booked in ASAP you won't be disappointed.
