No refund even after amazon received the return
I am extremely disappointed with Amazon’s customer service.
I placed an order and paid in full, but I never received the item. The package was eventually returned to Amazon, and according to UPS tracking, Amazon received the returned package at its warehouse on June 16, 2026.
Despite having both the returned merchandise and my money, Amazon has still not issued a refund. The order status has remained unchanged for more than six weeks, and customer service keeps ignoring my complaints or providing generic responses without resolving the issue.
I have contacted Amazon multiple times, but no meaningful assistance has been provided. At this point, Amazon is holding both the product and my money, which is completely unacceptable.
I have already escalated this matter to consumer protection agencies. I expected much better service from a company of this size.

They delivered the broken TV.
In March 2026, we purchased a TLC brand TV. The TV arrived broken inside the box. Upon opening the box, we discovered the screen was cracked. We reported the issue to Amazon and initiated a return. However, no one came to collect the TV, and they closed the return process without processing it. I have never seen such irresponsible customer service. I will never use Amazon again for electronic products.

Overcharge on line orders
Amazon is charging the credit card 20-30% more than the on line order. Caught them on the last two because I have our CC set to notify any charged.
They show the purchase amount as "e" $75 but charge the CC $100.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Or should I say, a chatbot that just sends you round in circles. I contacted them repeatedly about a faulty item and was regularly fobbed off. When I finally spoke to customer service representatives, some were extremely rude and unhelpful. I've now given up trying to resolve the issue and, after this experience, I definitely won't be using Amazon again

I bought a ipad classed as "excellent" condition IT WAS NOT it had severe water damage and plenty of cosmetic damages amazon did not want to know a thing good think I got my money back from the bank.

A little over a year ago I was up until then a regular customer on Amazon,
Then out of the blue they stopped delivering to me.
I spoke to customer service on many occasions but to no avail
I for the life of me cant get a straight answer out of them
Why?
They shared my personal information without my permission
Item wasn’t delivered few days ago. I contacted customer service they arranged replacement. Also they arranged pickup slot for the item that wasn’t delivered. They filled my name , address & phone number on Royal Mail return & arranged someone to come today to pick it up.
I contacted customer service twice before regarding sending someone to my address without my permission & sharing my location & personal information . They said it’s going to be cancelled twice .
A man coming knocking on my door angry this morning asking for the item that wasn’t even delivered. I complained to them again it’s not acceptable sharing my details with anyone without my permission . They offered to refund £19 worth of item . I’m very disappointed at this awful service .

Look at your reviews - DO NOT EVER chastise me threatening me with account closure when YOU wasted two hours of my time which resulted in me being refunded in full and a £35 gift voucher as an apology - you then send an email saying treat our represeantives with respect! I did - I put a few words in capitals to HIGHLIGHT the appalling service you provide! I pay for PRIME and on four occassions it DIDNT COME NEXT DAY - 2 didnt matter but two - 1 was an order for a wedding which was needed as emergency replacements and the second was for a trip - where you failed in letting us down SO NO I wont temper Capital letters - welcome to the 21st century when an AI bot threatens you with account closure because you are displeased with a getting worse service by the year! Ive been a customer with amazon prime for years. as of Sunday they decided to suspend my account after i tried using a different bank card to purchase some birthday presents. Which then led to them locking me out of my prime account and my prime Tv even when i explained in the restore form
it was me using the card and it was my bank card with my address and all the same address details.
Numerous phone calls from Sunday onwards! to their customer service team, one of which actually cut me off the call as she was refusing to listen to the steps that i had already taken to try and restore the account. Im glad all calls have been recorded because hopefully when they see this review they’ll see how unhelpful they have been. even after explaining that they locked my account so i wasn't able to log in and do anything further to restore the account which is when she cut me off.
As for their “accounts” team. shocking, i uploaded my drivers license which has my current address matching my bank card and apparently this was not sufficient.
Absolutely disgusting service! and to cut me off the phone as well just encouraged the frustration, and clarity that amazon are appalling.
The money i have spent buy films through prime tv and the years of subscriptions and membership and they cut it off even after submitting the correct requested information. SHOCKING!
After this treatment and service, i can happily say i wont be returning to them let alone spending anymore money with them.

Am totally disappointed on customer’s service with amazon !! I ordered 5.5inch Heat Diffuser Stainless Steel Induction ! The driver delivered an empty package and took a photo as if the job is done and the item is delivered!! Am a regular customer with amazon am totaly disappointed as the reply from the manager was to wait for 7 days investigation till they decide what to do ??!!! So I have to wait for 7 days for them till I start making my coffee !! I ordered this Item to help with my electric cooker that is not compatible with my coffee maker…so as if its my fault now I have to pay for the driver’s dishonesty.

Amazon used to be a good business- good product quality, fast refunds, and friendly services, but recently it all went downhill. I would refrain buying from Amazon unless you absolutely cannot find an alternative, especially do NOT fall for the Prime Day discount non-sense.
Over numerous interactions since 2024, I have encountered a troubling pattern where service representatives appear to make statements or promises simply to end the phone call or chat, without ensuring that those promises are accurate, documented, or honored. Refunds are later reneged and retroactively recharged despite multiple promises that I can ignore those system generated message. This creates a serious trust issue. Customers should be able to rely on what Amazon representatives say during official customer service communications. I shouldn’t have to check my credit card statements every day to ensure there’s no unrecognized charges.
Even more concerning, later representatives have refused to honor commitments made by earlier representatives. When an Amazon representative makes a promise to a customer during an official support interaction, the company should treat that promise as binding. It is unreasonable and unfair for Amazon to benefit from ending a customer-service dispute by making a representation, only for another representative to later reverse course and claim that the promise does not count.
This has caused unnecessary frustration, wasted many hours daily, and a loss of confidence in Amazon’s customer service system. The issue is not limited to one representative or one isolated mistake. It reflects broader service problems, including inconsistent information, unreliable follow-through, poor documentation between representatives, and system reliability issues that prevent customers from receiving clear and dependable support.

I think Amazon is the best thing that ever happened to shopping. I hate stores saves time and parking. The prices are comparable and competitive.
The only thing I recently noticed is . The Amazon in Brooklyn is in red hook . Near the water . All the boxes contain huge black water bugs . Anytime I receive deliveries.I see water bugs running around the house . I spray and exterminate them . I don’t see any until I get more Amazon boxes delivered. I hope they solve this problem.

I purchased a set of headlights from this seller through Amazon on March 13, 2026, and my experience has been extremely frustrating from start to finish.
After paying to have the headlights professionally installed, we discovered they were defective and did not work. I contacted Amazon, and while they attempted to assist, the seller refused to provide a return shipping label or cover the return shipping costs.
I originally paid $411.91 for the headlights. When the seller finally processed the return, they refunded only $103.82. I was forced to file a chargeback dispute with my credit card company to recover the remaining amount that was owed to me.
To make matters worse, I paid $211.89 out of pocket to return the defective headlights based on Amazon’s assurance that I would be reimbursed for the shipping costs once the seller received the item. Despite multiple follow-ups since April and providing the required documentation, I have never been reimbursed for that shipping expense.
As a result, I am still out $211.89 because neither the seller nor Amazon honored what was promised.
I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing from this seller, especially if you’re considering a higher-priced item. What appeared to be a “free return” turned into a costly and time-consuming ordeal. Proceed with caution.
