My experience with Trustpilot was…
My experience with Trustpilot was disappointing.
My review was removed after being flagged by their automated systems. I was then asked to provide documentation proving that my review was based on a genuine purchase.
I submitted exactly what was requested:
• purchase confirmation
• product photographs
• original packaging
while following their own privacy guidelines.
Unfortunately, the final response did not explain why the documentation was considered insufficient. It simply stated that the decision was final.
I fully respect Trustpilot's right to moderate reviews. However, I believe moderation should also include transparency.
If users are asked to provide evidence, they deserve to know why that evidence was rejected.
That lack of explanation is the reason for my rating.
