Selling IT courses to desperate people
Ridiculous Ukrainian company trying to break out in Poland - had a call for a recruiter position conducted by a Ukrainian girl without much experience in recruiting herself (after barely 2 years of life experience working she suddenly is Project Manager - which was a red flag already). She explained how the purpose of a company is to sell IT & Tech courses for people who want to change sectors to IT & Tech - as an IT headhunter myself with over a decade of specialized experience it was clear to me what a scam they are running, as we literally have a crisis within IT & Tech, so good luck finding job as a junior after such a "course". She 100% did not read my CV before the call and asked questions about why I left the previous company. When I corrected her, I did not leave and had no idea why such an assumption was made as my contract expired and I am looking for a continuation of 10+ years of recruiting work (naturally), then she decided "she is not comfortable anymore talking to me anymore". The attitude tells all. Looking for other members who will not question the dubious purpose of the company - which simply wants to promise people high salaries of IT specialists while selling IT courses, while being run by people without experience, and with way too much arrogance.
EDIT: "is important to note that a single unsatisfactory interview shouldn't define the entire company." - It does though. You should hire professional recruiters if you don't want candidates to have an awful experience - all steps in the recruitment process convert to how candidates view the company, which should be obvious. I am not surprised that you don't know that.
