Very bad flight experience in my life
Very bad flight experience in my life. I will never ever take this airline if they offer promotion. Crew members are not helpful even though I need help. They just watch and look. Also, ground staff are checking all the passengers baggage whether it’s beyond 7 kgs( bag + hand carry luggage). Although Jetstar offered cheaper tickets but in behind they will rob you and give you very bad customer service experience.
Travelling with an infant to Tokyo
If you are travelling with an infant, which for us, is a 3 month old baby. I would not recommend Jetstar in any way!! Lots of weird things added up to stress for me and my wife. In both our flights (return), we were asked to remove our baby from our baby carrier, this is the first challenge for us, our baby was already sleeping through but we had to wake her because they don’t allow a baby carrier to be worn. Our flight from Sydney to Manila which is about double the flight time in a different airlines allowed us to use a baby carrier and just gave is an infant life vest (jetstar didn’t also provide one for us). The next thing is the infant seatbelt which had to be inserted in the regular adult seatbelt which has a heavy buckle that our baby find discomforting. The cabin was really tight so there is no way to sooth your baby by rocking her. You can’t even stand to do this. On our way back from Narita to Manila, the check in counter did not allow us to use our pram so we had to again use our baby carrier. Our baby was now fussy at this time but we were able to put her to sleep, fast forward to boarding the plane the flight attendant again asked us to remove the baby carrier and put on the infant seatbelt. Our baby started crying and it was really hard for us to calm her down. When we landed, we were waiting for everyone to de-plane before we started moving since our baby was still sleeping and didn’t want to wake her up and cause a lot of noise, but again, one of the good flight stewardess asked to get the infant seatbelt right away, we asked if we could return it later when we started to fix our things. We remove it and our baby again started crying non stop. This was a horrible experience and not a baby friendly airlines at all.
Bad customer service both booking and…
Bad customer service both booking and at airports, bad transfers, delayed flights
Who needs hell when you have Jetstar
One start is even too generous for Jetstar. Do not fly with them if you have a flight longer then one hour, as the seats become really uncomfortable. No TV or food provided, and the food you can buy is way too over priced. Whoever designed the plane for Jetstar just wanted a quick buck. I had an 8 hour flight and it was hell. Please do your research before booking with a plane company.
We had an excellent experience…
We had an excellent experience travelling to and from Dunedin from the Gold Coast.
On the return trip my daughter had an episode of Synocope from her endometriosis. The caring and understanding flight attendant allowed her to change seats and did everything they could to help including bringing her water and a bottle filled with hot water for cramps and offering paracetamol. Very helpful and made the trip home in such a condition a lot less stressful.
Jetstar has lost long term members for life
Jetstar has zero customer service, customer loyalty or morals. Don’t use them!
Following a recent flight where I paid for a drink on cc, ironically a Qantas visa, hostess said transaction didnt go through, so asked me to pay again.
Discovered I was charged twice, so raised it with customer service. Literally had to give the same details 5 times over next 6 weeks, many hours explaining this $5 over charge, but refused to let it go on principle. This included cc statement with all transaction details several times over, flight details, seat details, cc details, purchase details, incident details, hostess details and my details, only to eventually be told no transactions to my card are found, case closed.
So am now claiming through my cc company who said its an easy clear case. Jetstar just lost me and my entire family for life, including long term Qantas club members. I’ve been loyal for 30+ years, but no longer. Over $5. Sometimes you’ve gotta put principles first.

Highly incompetent in dealing with handicap people no care nothing this company should be shot down I never been treated like that in my life the disrespect is on a level new to me
Never again and I will pass on my experience to protect others from these incompetent clowns
Sydney to Bali return, cheap but nasty
I flew to Bali and back on Jetstar from Sydney and paid more for the front row window seat. With the anticipation of a wonderful holiday, I tried to overlook the 3.15am check in and the breakfast lasagne at 6.15am! The cabin temperature was chilly, but that's OK. I'll cope. The flight home was a nightmare I will not be repeating. Late departure from Denpasar from 10.35pm to just after midnight. Same seat, but now realised how bloody uncomfortable they are. I've sat on better park benches. I found it absolutely impossible to get comfortable and sleep. Lasagne after 1.00am! And the cabin was ridiculously cold. I mentioned it to the staff and they said "sorry". I have been travelling for the last 6 decades and Jetstar is definitely at the bottom of the pile. You may be cheap, but you're cheap and nasty. Never again.
Jetstar A321-NEO Seats Don’t Recline
Jetstar is okay. Their inflight staff are terrific. The only problem we faced is that the A321-NEO, its seats, that don’t recline. A 6 hour flight from Bali to the Sunshine Coast and my back is totalled. Both my wife and I could not get any sleep.
I had the best experience with Jetstar…
I had the best experience with Jetstar domestic as I was travelling from Sydney to Brisbane and back amazing service amazing staff very friendly and helpful in every way and very comfortable ride thank you so much Jetstar
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. We were trying to retrieve our boarding pass from the app when checking in our bags in Melbourne airport. A female staff member came to us to tell us to step away from the conveyor because we're not using it. How about asking us if we need assistance or even asking us if we were using it which we clearly were! Invest on some customer service training!
I booked a return ticket on Jetstar…
I booked a return ticket on Jetstar from Melbourne to sydney. Both flights were delayed by 3 hours. Very POOR notification from Jetstar regarding flight delays. NEVER EVER WILL I BOOK WITH THIS AIRLINE AGAIN.
Worst phone customer service
Worst phone customer service, they won't understand your flights, won't read notes, and will keep you on the line all day without resolving your issue, beware!
Jetstar Bad
Words can’t describe how much I hate Jetstar. They delayed their flight by a billion hours like usual on the way here, and then on the way back they charged me for being over the baggage limit because their stupid app made on Fiverr didn’t work. To anybody reading this, request a chargeback with your bank and Jetstar won’t fight it because it costs more for them to contest the chargeback. Who uses Orange as a colour anyway. Apparently their pilots train for less time than everyone else. A pox on their houses.
If there is a 0 star
If there is a 0 star, i would have leave that review. Worst airline. Booked flight from Melbourne to Launceston and the flight was delayed for almost 6hrs. Incompetent airline

Customer Service Fail
Complaint
Jetstar NZ
Christina and Robyn
Wheelchair Assistance
Terrible, terrible. No apology, empathy, nothing. No Customer Service or People Skills
I will never fly and use Jetstar ever again in my lifetime
I thought Jetstar redeemed themselves after telling me I couldn’t get a Wheelchair, but then I complained, I know my rights and what’s legal. There were how many wheelchairs available I witnessed. I got a Wheelchair finally, still not satisfied with the experience I had to go through, just to get a Wheelchair!
Now, another unnecessary complaint
Jetstar NZ Wheelchair Assistance - Christina and Robyn
Flight JQ159 BNE-AKL
Flight was delayed. Wheelchair assistance delayed. I asked “are we going through Duty Free’.” The answer was “yes.” I stated I needed to get my ‘Click and Collect.’ One staff said she will check? Check? The other staff said “no.” Huh? She said it’s against company policy, what? If I did. Then the Wheelchair Assistance will cease. What! Why can Air NZ can and Fiji Airlines? I didn’t agree. It didn’t make any sense to me!
It didn’t make sense because she was assisting my Aunty in a Wheelchair. She agreed to take her to the bathroom and my Aunty can go shopping at Duty Free? How does that work and how is that fair to me?
She was so Discriminative!
Her information didn’t make sense to me. No common sense. She clearly didn’t understand your own policy
I made a scene. Because they gave me terrible, unprofessional service. Which then they agree to take me to get my ‘Click and Collect” from Duty Free
Why?
They didn’t apologize or make things right. Ignored me. I was not going to use their useless service. It was bad
There were times where I had to get my child niece to push and move me in the Wheelchair
I found out that the Manager was downstairs. Yet they had a walkie talkie that they could have contacted to get the manager
I don’t know if their names are actually legit. But they were islanders, brown. Ladies. One had acne. The other was big. Both their hairs were in a bun. The big one. Her hair colour was red, it was dyed
She needs a lot of training, upskilling. So does the other one. She was just a follower
I will never use and fly with Jetstar. As long as I live. I will delete my Jetstar App. Any surveys sent to me to complete will be terrible. So don’t bother sending them to me
I messaged Jetstar on Facebook. They didn’t care. They sent me the Policy. That was a total joke!
Still better then virgin
What an absolute ripp off.My hand…
What an absolute ripp off.My hand luggage was 7.5kg. I asked them if this was allowed as I knew the limit was 7kg and i wanted to.do the right thing. One staff member said to me it should be ok not to worry about it and then the next member said no!! It will be $60 extra. This is absolutely ridiculous to say the least. How many passenger dont ask and just get on the aircraft without any problems.Im done with you.It was never about the money rather than the principle how this was handled!!
