國立臺中科技大學將於2024年11月20日至23日舉辦「2024感性工程與情感研究國際研討會」（KEER 2024）。本次研討會與台灣感性學會共同主辦，為期四天，在臺中科技大學舉行，活動內容包括主題演講、專題討論及論文發表。此次盛會結合學界與產業界的力量，並獲得台中市政府觀光旅遊局的支持，透過合作策展，結合產、官、學界共同展現台中多元文化底蘊與創新活力，進一步提升台灣在國際設計領域的知名度。

KEER國際研討會自2007年成立以來，每兩年在不同國家舉辦，吸引來自全球各地的藝術設計及人因工程領域頂尖學者。今年，特別邀請德國萊比錫大學Marina Stankovic教授、捷克科技大學Henri Achten教授，以及日本知名設計師Hers Design創辦人村田智明先生進行專題演講，分享其在設計領域的深刻見解。來自7個國家、超過200位嘉賓和學者將齊聚一堂，發表近160篇學術論文，探討感性工程如何推動永續發展目標（SDGs）及提升使用者體驗設計，為跨領域的知識交流提供無界限的平台，展示具共鳴性與永續性的創新設計之可能性。

此外，11月20日至11月29日的「2024 KEER國際設計特展」將以「文化永續」和「城市創新」為主題進行展出。A區「文化永續・城市創新展區」將呈現台中市推動永續發展的豐碩成果，包括5家獲GTS綠色旅行標章認證的優秀產業。B區「感性設計・全球永續展區」則展出來自17個國家、30位國際設計師的平面設計作品，以及7所國際設計學院的17件永續創新作品。研討會期間還安排文化體驗活動，帶領外賓參訪2024臺中國際花毯節、國家歌劇院、霧峰林家花園等中部具代表性的自然與人文地標，深入體驗台灣的感性設計、永續價值及創新實踐。

2024 KEER International Conference at NTCUST, November 20–23: Exploring "Kansei for Sustainability and Innovation"

National Taichung University of Science and Technology (NTCUST) will host the "2024 International Conference on Kansei Engineering and Emotion Research" (KEER 2024) from November 20 to 23, 2024. Co-organized with the Taiwan Institute of Kansei, this four-day conference will take place at NTCUST, featuring keynote speeches, special sessions, and paper presentations. The event brings together academia and industry, with support from the Taichung City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau. Through collaborative curation, it showcases Taichung's rich cultural heritage and innovative vitality, further enhancing Taiwan's prominence in the international design arena.

Since its inception in 2007, the KEER International Conference has been held biennially in different countries, attracting top art design and ergonomics scholars worldwide. This year, distinguished speakers include Professor Marina Stankovic from Leipzig University, Professor Henri Achten from the Czech Technical University, and renowned Japanese designer Mr. Chiaki Murata, founder of Hers Design. They will share profound insights into the design field. Over 200 guests and scholars from seven countries will convene to present nearly 160 academic papers, exploring how Kansei Engineering can advance Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhance user experience design. The conference provides a boundless platform for cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange, showcasing innovative designs that resonate emotionally and promote sustainability.

Additionally, the "2024 KEER International Design Exhibition" will be held from November 20 to November 29, focusing on "Cultural Sustainability" and "Urban Innovation." Area A, "Cultural Sustainability & Urban Innovation," will display Taichung City's achievements in promoting sustainable development, including five outstanding industries certified with the GTS Green Travel Label. Area B, "Kansei Design & Global Sustainability," will feature graphic design works from 30 international designers across 17 countries and 17 sustainable innovation projects from seven international design schools. Cultural experience activities are arranged during the conference, guiding guests to visit the 2024 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival, National Taichung Theater, Wufeng Lin Family Garden, and other representative natural and cultural landmarks in central Taiwan. These activities offer an in-depth experience of Taiwan's Kansei design, sustainable values, and innovative practices.

The KEER 2024 International Conference encompasses academic research and design practice.
