Kian was was diagnosed with acute onset leukaemia when he was just 2 years old. While his diagnosis was devastating for his family, worse was to come, when Kian developed a virus that paralysed him from the neck down at aged 4. While in hospital he was isolated in ICU for much of that time, and the characters from Disney movies became his friends. This is why he choose a Disney experience as his wish.
