Iron Man: Armored Adventures Lands on DVD

Finally, after a rather long wait, Marvel Animation, Vivendi Entertainment, Method Animation and DQ Entertainment will bring the second season of the hit CG-animated series, Iron Man: Armored Adventures to DVD June 26, 2012, but there's a catch. The show will be broken into multiple volumes. Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Season 2 Volume 1 will compile the first six episodes from the sophomore season.

Here's a rundown of what to expect in the second season, direct from Marvel and Vivendi, "Tony and his friends must battle to keep control of his father’s company with things going from bad to worse when the designs for the Iron Man armor are stolen! Can Tony Stark stop the Iron Man technology from being used for evil? It’s life-threatening action as Iron Man finds himself teaming up with the Black Panther, helping the Living Laser and confronting the nefarious deeds of Obadiah Stane and Justin Hammer! Will he survive? Anything can happen in the Super Hero world of Iron Man: Armored Adventures!"

No tech specs or bonus features have been listed for this release. Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Season 2, Volume 1 will be available for the suggested retail price of $14.93. Amazon has the disc up for pre-order for $11.93.
