The Llandudno war memorial is in the form of a tall obelisk, on the landward side of the promenade. It was unveiled in 1922, to commemorate the local people who died in the First World War. The names of people who died in the Second World War were added later. The memorial is Grade II-listed (Cadw reference 3475 Archive LinkExternal link )
